Indiana and North Carolina are off the map for Obama.

He has zero chance of winning a state he lost last time and so it is impossible he will get 400 EV's.

He won't get 300 EV's.

i'll be happy when it's over so we can get back to talking about either how obama is the worst president ever or how great romney is but obama left the place such a mess there's nothing romney can do to prevent it from getting worse. 

Independents are a huge group and probably MORE likely to vote.
Florida leans Romney. 400 is inane. obama isn't running a good campaign at all, unless you think hiding behind his water carriers is strong.

How can you say Obama isn't running a good campaign?  The economy is in the toilet, he's got a drunk for a VP, he no longer has a military imperative to lean on, half of the country thinks he's a socialist.  Obama should be getting killed!  He's running a great campaign.

the polls show Obama with the lead, and they have all along, if you want to go off the polls.  Obviously, we're playing the role of prognosticator.  My prediction is an overwhelming victory by Obama.  The election map bears it out.  The low interest in Romney's running mate bears that out.  The increasing influence in Latinos bears that out.  The fact that his own party doesn't really support him bears that out.  He's gonna get killed.  Maybe pulls in 153, maybe.

We may have to vote for the lesser of two evils here; choosing the debt-raising spending spree we are on now over the middle-class squeezing economic attitude of those whose income is in the upper 5% of Americans who want to keep what they have and mandate those who really make this country function (factory laborers, teachers, firemen ...) pay a disproportionate amount of their income because they do not qualify for the many tax breaks the wealthy take advantage of. 

Wow, even Fox News ripped Ryan's speech for being blatantly dishonest.  Another bad sign for the Romney campaign.  I also read he's got like <1% of the African American vote.  Add that to the lack of Latino support and he's a dead duck.  Obama > 400 delegates = win.  Either way, the country loses.

Do you know the difference between having huge built in advantages and running a good campaign?? He has a fawning media and has been campaigning for four years. He's running a piss poor campaign. He's spent $100 M to be tied with Romney in August. That is awful for an incumbent who has yet to feel the heat of Romney's campaign. Your perception of Ryan is dreadfully flawed as well. The momentum is on the side of RR. You are right about only one thing, it likely won't be close.

You're speaking of the advantages all incumbents have!  Ryan's speech got ripped apart by Fox News, did you read it?  Ryan's just another Marilyn Musgrave, both candidates having been endorsed by The KKK, which, ironically, has their WI chapter in Ryan's home town!  The Romney/Ryan ticket is a loser ticket all the way.  Their support base are white men with submissive wives.

Nah, Paul Ryan's speech was laudited as one of the great VP speeches of recent time. Of course, obama's shit throwing monkeys dumped on it, but what would you expect. PR is widely considered the sharpest budget guy in Congress (even by the left) and that is what the country needs. Since I know you hate to look and facts are like an enema to the left, support has surged for Romney since his choice of PR.
