They are not even close to be done counting votes nationwide. Going to take about 4-5 days total before we get election totals. California is now just 60% counted as of this morning even though the state was called Tuesday.
Total Count for Cast Ballots from 2020: 159,738,337
Total Count for Cast Ballots from (millions still uncounted) 2024: 158,549,000.
Voter turnout will end up being down 1.2 mi votes or so. Understandable considering the candidates.
Trump won because his flipped Latinos and young people under 30 big time. Kamala also lost women by 3% overall (Major loss in Latino women), which also contributed to her loss big time.
