 I think so.  The lion is much louder.  But the jaguar is hidden and you have no idea at all where it is or what it is up to.  I tried to tell myself if he was stalking us he would not be making sounds.  But it really did not help.

Plus I was far younger and only with a local lady I was trying to get out when I was stuck in the Amazon.  

I was put into a very bad spot and at night that sort of thing made it far worse.

Whereas, I was with several others in Africa that obviously knew what was going on and I was a bit older, etc.

Common sense says be more afraid of the lion that will hunt and eat you and not so much the jaguar that is likely after smaller stuff.  

But at night alone in the jungle common sense does not work.

Palestine doesn't have a "formal military,"  but they do have Hamas & Hezbollah with the backing from Iran.   Everyone here knows this. 

The difference with the terrorists is that they ""Intentionally"" attack Israelis and look to kill& exterminate them.  On top of that, they put their ""OWN"" people at risk by putting these command centers and arsenal underneath schools & hospitals.  So, they don't respect ""ANY"" civilians at all. 

When you put things in proper perspective, you will realize that the terrorists are the rats that need to be exterminated from earth.  They serve no good to anybody.  

You cannot make the same argument about the Israeli military.  Not even close.

 I really don't want to go into this because I can't stress enough, I really don't give a damn about Palestine or Israel. Only American tax dollars. So I will just say this. Israel has an advance and capable military and one of the best intelligence arms in the world. They aren't accidentally bombing civilians. They aren't receiving bad intel. There aren't bases under these civilian targets. Their goal is genocide. They are trying to wipe out the entire people. This is why they prevent humanitarian aid.

 I agree ! If Hamas hadnt attacked on Oct 7- none of this suffering or death would have occurred. Just the normal suffering and death. So, to start it all it is the fault of Hamas. But Netanyahu’s over the top reactions and overall incompetence has made the situation much worse than it had to be and that lays on him.

And for those who think Israel is all righteous, I’d point out that since October 7th, Settlers have stepped up their West Bank shenanigans while the IDF stands by. I know the West Bank isn’t perfect, but how does it make sense to antagonize the calmer of the two areas? And that’s without getting into the fact that settler land grabs have (IMO) made it impossible to even consider a workable territory there. I’m to the point where I think US policy should be to stay out of the whole thing and tell them to call us when they want to actually get something done.

I will say this. I'm not in a position to say they are bombing schools and hospitals but I will say this. There are actions Israel takes in the Levant, there are actions we take all throughout the middle-east, that do not receive air time in the west. We think when some of these actions happen, and i can't stress enough that I am American through and through, and I do not sympathize oe empathize with any of these people, but we are led to believe when these actions happen, they come out of nowhere. That the perpetrators are terrorists that hate freedom. Most terrorist acts are reactionary is some sense or another. 

Neither here nor there though. I am not a humanitarian. I'm a pragmatist. I don't care if they bomb the shite out of them. My wife is appalled by it all. I've seen her cry multiple times over it. Don't get me wrong, I think it's messed up but I more so just don't want us footing the bill.

Looking towards the future & if nothing changes, there are a number of promises that have been made to all Americans.

So now everyone gets an income tax cut, corp tax cut, 0 taxes on Soc Security, tips or overtime, car loan interest rates will be deductible, credit card interest rates capped at 10%, 33% of the budget will be cut, it will be balanced, 15 million migrants deported, & the Ukraine war over in within days of the presidential change. But it's not exactly great for everyone.

He plans to gut the civil service, destroy the independence of the Justice Department  & seek political revenge on a long list of his detractors. After yesterday's vote, it appears a majority of Americans are eager to see the POS do exactly that. However, I don't believe most Americans are prepared for what is to come.

His convictions and lawsuits will go away. Pardons for members of his MAGA cult will take place & they will be released from prison. He will settle his vendettas & of course, pardon himself as if those offenses never happened.

He will replace military leaders with his loyalists , no nothing RFK is slated to run the USDA, no more vaccines & the House as well as the Senate will become nothing more than a bunch of limp dicks because he will make all the decisions & when those decisions fail, he will fire whomever he wants. He has no plan to replace the Affordable Care Act & he acts out of pure spite which will negatively impact many, many Americans. Say hello to a weakened OSHA & the associate lawsuits against companies who skimp on costs/worker safety to increase their profits.

Most Americans don't have a clue about Project 2025 but will soon find out the repercussions of what is planned. The Department of Education will become a shell of itself. He has helped destroy the public trust in the "riggred" justice system as he exploited the systematic weaknesses in our democracy. He inherits a divided nation deeply weakened by his toxic brand of politics.

What guardrail will be in place to protect us all from his whims, personal attacks on our branches of government & our allies? Those of us who are believers in the rule of law are in for a rough 4 years. He owns the immigration & inflation issues now. No more talk about what he "would" do. Now he has to deliver.  

These are not sour grapes that I share here. Yes, I'm very disappointed in the results of last night & how the fuck does Bobo Boebert keep her job? People like me will disengage for our own sanity purposes. I'm worn out from the everyday nonsense that has taken place during the campaigns of both parties. I've never looked to the government to enrich me or solve my problems & I'm not going to start now.

Yeah, it's sad to say, but (Radical) Islam is an intolerant Religion of other Religions... The J-E-W-S, the Christians,.. you name it.   They hate, and they kill... 

 So, no, this isn't some "cause and affect" thing that we here in the West are missing.  It actually does come from out of nowhere, and is ""Not"" reactionary.  It comes right out of their defunct religion.   These radicalized people (i.e the terrorists that rule their people) are pure evil. 

When you see how advanced Israel and the West are, and how backwards people like the Palestinians are still living in the stone age (i.e. no economy, no structured government), then you really have to wonder who the real Devil is , don't you ?

The numbers don't make any sense.    Just look at the TOTAL votes in the past 4 elections.   20 MILLION more people voted for Biden than Harris this year, all while Trumps total WENT DOWN from 2020!!

Those ballot drops in the middle of the night were insanity!  No statistical way one candidate gets that huge of a swing percentage wise.
