If you want a truck, don't buy one with a turbo. One doesn't buy a truck to worry about mpg, trucks with turbos need a new turbo around 100k, even if the turbo seems fine. when that bearing let's go its sucked right into the engine. plus, the turbo engines require high test, 92/93 don't run 87 in that
trucks are built for work, for towing heavy stuff. How many half ton trucks you see with 6-inch lifts and tonka truck tires rolling down the road? bet they have stock axles too
My 5.3 half ton can handle a camper about 10k but it can be some white knuckle driving in the mountains. It really is maxed out. I can't imagine what a ford 4 banger with twin turbo would do hauling that. when talking about trucks there is no replacement for displacement

@wallstreetcappers Wall, thats a really great you tube page. Thanks for putting it out there for everybody
No problem, I learned more about cars and how to fix from Scotty than any other source in my life. His short vids are great too. Nice thing about him is he does not mix politics into his discussion its only about the industry and political impacts not generic about a party or politician.

@THEMUGG off topic here, but you said you work on amps. what's your opinion on the fender m80 amp? I miss that little amp, it held its own. live and learn
I've never worked on one. The only guitar amps I've worked on are a Fender DRRI & Marshall DSL100 head. I mostly do vintage stereo stuff.....Marantz, Sansui, Kenwood, etc. but have repaired a number of amps like Parasound, Rotel, B&K, Soundcraftsman.
