I'm bumping this because the note on Bolton's pad is making sense.
Do you truly believe that Trump gives a rat's ass about the predicament of the Venezuelan people? This humanitarian aid being sent is all about American companies getting access to a shitload of Venezuelan oil. Trump has always claimed we should have grabbed all the oil in Iraq & even though I agreed with him at the time that was under very different circumstances. He just met with the president of Columbia & I think the stationing of American troops was possibly discussed. I'm not into conspiracy theories but this smells rotten to me.
Trump is not interested in the benevolent liberation of the Venezuelan people. Access to oil is the reason.
