The nfc north has more winning teams than the rest of the nfc combined. The Bears are 0-2 against their division.
Where would the Bears be if Caleb doesn't pull up lame on the 2 yard line vs the Vikings, but crosses the goal line instead?
Starting Nickel Back Kyler Gordon made his first start in forever last game. He only played 17 snaps. And managed 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles
The Pats are 2-0 against their division After a 1-2 start, Drake Maye was left for dead by many. No one knew what was wrong. They've ripped off 3 straight wins catapulted by the win in Orchard Park vs Superman. Drake Maye has his confidence back.
AJ Brown came back last game for the Pats. Was it 3, 4, maybe 5 drops? Including muffing an onside kick because he's on the "hands" team? All that weird shit he talked in Philly about Hurts and OC's...dude you're a WR. You're main job is to catch the ball and you can't. Hopefully for the Pats he gets right soon, or it's a major miss. Steffon Diggs was tremendous for them last year.
Is Vrabel a top 5 coach? Probably. Is Ben Johnson a top 5 coach? Probably, without a full resume to prove it yet.
I see only 1 bad loss on the Patriots schedule(@Jax). I see only 1 bad loss on the Bears schedule(@GB).
Drake vs Caleb
Couldn't ask for a better matchup on a Thursday night, where these games more often than not disappoint.

This is going to be a bad ass game.

Ignorant people judge before knowing the facts. Especially when they could easily look it up after the fact. Not saying you are ignorant. Just saying ignorant people do that often.

So to the tout dude above, who will spam covers all day...
The 2 TD's that Atlanta scored against the Bears in the 4th quarter was against all backups. Yes, Ben Johnson started to rest his guys in preparation for the short week. Also, Roschon Johnson fumbled and the Bears turned it over in the 4th quarter.
So yea, on paper it looked like the Bears could not close in the 4th quarter.

The Chicago Bears have multiple tributes planned for late Hall of Fame Mike Ditka during Thursday's home game against the New England Patriots, including handing out fake mustaches that resemble Ditka's signature look.
Go Bears!

I think Bears are being oversold on this spot. Everyone is looking at Caleb's efficiency and pass yards but he did that against the Falcons that ranks 18th in the league with their defense. Drake Maye on the other hand fought against the Jets and managed to get a win with efficiency last Sunday. Surprisingly the Jets are significantly playing better than the Falcons on paper.
Also everyone is saying about the primetime dogs ats/su streak angle and about to break. It is really tough to say at this point but Drake Maye is on rhythm right now so it will be hard to bet against the Pats
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I agree with this. NE has better passing efficiency numbers. For example, Maye PE/Play is 2nd at .252 and Williams PE/Play is 18th at .239.
But I think all units are fairly even in this matchup and that one is closer to NE but the market seems to prefer Williams. But if every unit played to their current level that would be the only matchup that would slightly be in NE favor with the rest almost even, I think.

Interesting line on the game tonight. I’ve seen numerous flat 3’s out there which is unusual this season. Laying three has been cheap and taking it has cost us extra juice this year. At least where I’m betting that’s been the case. We’ve had a lot of -2.5 games this season. So that puts an interesting spin on the game tonight. Are the books that confident in the bears that we finally get a -3 -110 closing line? Does the line move before kick? And are we getting a bargain getting a full 3 points at -110 on NE? Taking the pats tonight gives us options. NE can obviously win outright, they can lose by 1 or 2 and still cover the number, or land directly on 3 and give a push. Of course Chicago can win by 4-7 or even in a blowout. In a league that absolutely loves a one score game, a late fourth quarter comeback from the dog, and overtime as many times as it can happen, I have to lean towards NE tonight. You’re getting a good number at a great price with a competent and competitive team. GL all
