....and that's part of the problem, because money is wasted once it falls into the hands of the government. The truth is that the PEOPLE should decide how their money is spent in society, not how the GOVERNMENT should decide how to spend our own money. You laid out a perfect argument for just that point, by donating your hard earned money to those in need. 
I do the same , and I'm sure there are many others here that donate at least some of their money to good causes... including yes, paying it forward at the bar. 
...... The wealth tax is really a tax on top of an existing tax. People already pay income taxes, so why are people taxed again based on how much they HAVE, on top of how much they EARN in any given here? That is just crazy, and why it should be referred to as a confiscation of one's wealth,... This a big no no as you rightly point out.

Being the jealous prick that he is, Trump took time out to attack the 16 year old.
Melania doesn't get a pass on this. Her Be Best philosophy has been a total bust & the biggest bully in our country is her husband.
Maybe in one of the 5 languages she speaks, Melania can defend this young girl.

Trump repeatedly and falsely claims current economy is the best in US history. However economic growth and unemployment are better in previous decades. According to Bloomberg, Trump's economy ranks 6th among the last 7 presidents overall in economic performance. Obama's second term is stronger in job creation, GDP growth, stock market gains, lower federal deficit, less income inequality and more Americans with healthcare insurance.
Many economists overwhelmingly credit Obama for strong US economy. Little evidence that Trump's tax cuts and deregulation have meaningfully improve economy. He is lucky to inherit upward trends in consumer confidence and lower unemployment that began during Obama's term.

In ad, Trump is depicted as Thanos the super villain in Avengers film. Creator Jim Starlin felt violated to see Thanos turned into a pro Trump meme. Trump is a pompous fool to enjoy comparing himself to a mass murderer. Afterall, Thanos is the bad guy who is eventually defeated by the good guys.

Pam Bondi, the Florida AG who Trump's now defunct charitable trust made a highly questionable political donation to, will play a lead role in his impeachment defense. She's also a registered agent for Qatar. Wait until the country learns about Pam Bondi.
At 54, she's been married 3 times. She didn't vote in 1984, 86, 88, 90, 2002 & 2008. She's been accused by conservatives as being a RINO in her run for Attorney General in Florida which she won. As AG, she failed to launch an investigation into sexual abuse by Catholic priests until the situation was exposed to he public. At the end of her run, she finally started to address the opiod issues in Florida where pill mills brazenly pushed their product.
She's a real piece of work & was part of Trump's transition team. She supports the NRA, flip flopped on LGTB rights, she endorsed Jeb Bush & then switched to Trump.
She will be fun to watch in her defense of Trump.
