Ryan Zinke, who acted as a lobbyist for the oil & gas industries while in office, has left with a number of investigations still underway regarding his behavior. He's likely being replaced by another DC insider & lobbyist for those 2 same industries. So much for draining the swamp.
Trump wants to cut down on companies hiring illegal aliens. Wonderful...fully support the move.
However, with the government shutdown companies cannot verify the legal status of candidates. So everyone gets hurt. Companies, job seekers, the economy etc etc. The E-verify system many employers utilize is unavailable.
Of the 245,000 DHS employees, only 14% are still receiving paychecks.
Immigration judges have their calendars booked 3 to 4 years out & this mess just compounds our immigration problems.

Trump's "A-Team" of most senior positions in his administration has a 65% turnover rate. How can a leader in politics or business get anything positive accomplished with so many people leaving an organization?
My guess is that little crook Wilbur Ross will be the next to go. His advice, along with that of Peter Navarro regarding tariffs, has resulted in a trade war hurting America.

I don't agree with this. I've made it clear that i'm for the wall. Very, very for the wall but punishing government workers isn't the way. Especially since the politicians still get paid.

It does allow for them to reject their pay until the self proclaimed Trump shutdown is lifted.
