I think it is pretty clear that Abdullah Abdullah will be the next leader, and I was actually feeling pretty good about that because he was formerly an aid of Amhad Shah Massoud who was just about as good as it got in Afghanistan after Najibullah's Communist proxy rule that ended when the Mujahadeen took over.
Given the strong footing of the northern front, and the legacy of anti Taliban sentiment, it is just odd to be playacting the Taliban at this point, unless it is to allow them to have yet another civil war between the northern front and factions like the Haqqani network etc.

As I said from the moment this story broke, we will have eyes on the 5 released...I actually anticipate these 5 being dead in the near future. Beyond that this admin is on its own...
