(CNN) Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene repeatedly indicated support for executing
prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before being elected to Congress,
a CNN KFile review of hundreds of posts and comments from Greene's Facebook page shows.
Greene, who represents Georgia's 14th Congressional District, frequently posted far-right
extremist and debunked conspiracy theories on her page, including the baseless QAnon
conspiracy which casts former President Donald Trump in an imagined battle against
the "deep state" who were allegedly working against Trump.

Greene falsely accused "Antifa/BLM terrorism" and Democratic politicians
of stoking the January 6 insurrection.

Greene created a White House petition in January 2019 to impeach the House speaker
for "crimes of treason," citing Pelosi's support of so-called sanctuary policies that
"are serving illegals and not United States citizens" and because Pelosi did not support
Trump's border wall.
In one speech, promoting the petition, Greene suggested Pelosi could be executed for treason.
"She's a traitor to our country, she's guilty of treason," Greene says in the video,
"punishable by death"

Greene, who has embraced and spread the baseless conspiracy theory about a "deep state"
working to usurp Trump's agenda, suggested in Facebook posts that 
FBI agents disloyal to Trump were traitors...
Another Facebook post she liked said, "These traitors need to be put to death 
as an example of what will no longer be tolerated in our country!!!"

In one Facebook post from April 2018, Greene wrote conspiratorially about the Iran Deal.
A commenter asked Greene, "Now do we get to hang them ?? Meaning H & O ???,"
referring to Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Greene replied, "Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient.
This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off."

Taylor Greene has also faced a backlash over recently resurfaced comments about
the Parkland school massacre.
Students who survived the Parkland, Florida, school shooting and families of the
victims have called for Taylor Greene's resignation after comments surfaced that
showed her agreeing with people who said the 2018 shooting was a "false flag" operation.
(meaning, a staged event, with paid actors)

And apparently, she questions whether the massacre in Las Vegas

was also a false flag operation as well!

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Greene suggested that laser beams from space
may have started the 2018 California wildfires, and that among the entities
behind this conspiracy were former California Gov. Jerry Brown, Pacific Gas & Electric,
and Rothschild Inc., an investment firm frequently targeted by anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists.

What's False

Greene did not explicitly state that “Jewish lasers” caused the fires.

I disagree with the premise and Meghan McCain had a great take on this viewpoint. 

While her views are certainly problematic, they are not criminal. This is not Germany where espousing Holocaust denials is a crime. She also has not committed a crime. I realize that people have said she was complicit in the January 6 attacks, but she has not been charged and is not even being investigated. So how does she define the GOP? She doesn't in any manor more than extremist left candidates (socialists for example) define the Dems.

I mostly agree with you on this. I think the scary thing for most is that she won her a Congressional seat, which may lead to more Q'Anon members and supporters running and getting elected in the future. So there is a possibility that she represents what the future of the GOP could be, if there is not strong condemnation and pushback against her and her ignorant conspiracy theory views. 

ya thats a good point . if no condemnation in a strong way then it will become basically accepted .

there were many millions of repos who firmly believe in the big lie despite no proof , which proves they will believe anything with no proof  even that school massacres were staged and 9/11 denials

so its like impeachment ,unless there is a tangible consequence like conviction he will just do it again

Agree with much of what you state.    We have no valid reason yet to believe she is a criminal; nor are extremist views in themselves, crimes.

But the premise I stated is not a statement (nor implied) that Greene "defines the GOP" but rather a QUESTION: is she the new face of the GOP ? -- which is slightly different.  Meaning, she could become the new face of the GOP without per se defining it.  They are not one and the same although yes there is some overlap in meaning. 

Likewise *IF* there are extremist lefties prominently - and more importantly *CURRENTLY* garnering massive attention in the news while espousing whacko jaw-dropping views, then one could similarly ask the same question I posed of that lefty.

"Do they want to be the party of limited government and fiscal responsibility,
free markets, peace through strength and pro-life or do they want to be the
party of conspiracy theories and QAnon. I think that is the decision they've
got to face. It's a big distraction for them right now and not in a good way."

"I think our party has to make it very clear that she does not
represent us in any way," said Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney.
"Our big tent is not large enough to both accommodate conservatives and kooks."

She should be an embarrassment to every American....

Crazy extremism is a toxic cancer on Trumpism GOP disguised as republican.  If cancer isn't removed,  moderate voters would continue to have reason to favor democrats.   But current GOP lawmakers are cowards unwilling to make short term sacrifice for long term gain.

You all jealous? Think for a minute how bad was the Democratic challenger who loss to miss Greene.

Her constituents elected her. She won.

You have to demonize her for thinking outside of the talking points delivered by main stream media.

Put up a challenger who can win that district either the primaries or general election but don't state we need to censure her right to represent the district that elected her.

I think we should all think about how uneducated and moronic people are in Greene's district, who actually voted for her. I don't think the criticism comes from "thinking outside of talking points" delivered by the media. The reason citizens and officials, even from the GOP fear her so much, is that she peddles lies, and conspiracy theories not substantiated by facts or supportive evidence. Generally, just spews wild lies publicly, and then apparently behind closed doors tells Republicans last night that she no longer holds the same beliefs she got elected on. Seems pretty cowardly and calculated.
