Polls show most Americans think Trump is racist.  He has a long history of racism.  For examples, housing discrimination, promotion of Obama birther conspiracy theory and Central park rape case.  As president, he has rolled back civil rights and attacked immigrants.  Brookings institution reports that his derogatory rhetoric has resulted in an increase in violence and hate crimes in the US.  He is endorsed by Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists.

Let’s be honest - racism is still a serious issue in the US (I would argue it is one of the countries in the world with the highest inequality based on skin colour - at least in the developed world). - If you treat someone differently just because of their skin color, that's racism, no matter how you frame it. (and this inequality is infected in your entire society) Trump has repeatedly made statements and supported policies that favor white Americans - it's hard to deny. If you truly believe he treats all races equally, you're ignoring a huge part of his record - and many in his base actually admire him for that stance (as already pointed out - so it is not something in his personality likely to change)

And it is empirically clear that the overwhelming majority of it emanates from the conservative right (ie, the racist trump and his MAGA accomplices)

Famous anti-Semite MTG seems have to somehow found the high ground from Laura Loomer, after Loomer stupidly attacked a Medal of Honor recipient. The guy blocked a suicide bomber to save others, it’s pretty clear that’s someone who deserves a Medal of Honor.

While MTG is often disingenuous and openly acts in bad faith, it is good to see her attacking Loomer’s stupidity because:

1) Loomer has the presidents ear on hirings/firings

2) MOH recipients should be apolitical. The guy stopped a suicide bomber, idgaf what his affiliation is.

3) This is all part of Loomer’s endgame to control who stays in Trump’s DOD. Loomer has no real experience at this, her opinions are trash. It’s a desperate grasp to remain relevant.

Now MTG can go back to wondering why Bibi doesn’t use his “space lasers” against its enemies. At least she did something useful for once! (She hasn’t done squat for her constituents, which is why she could get primaried.)
