So what is the partisan narrative for ICE killing Alex Pretti? From what I have read the guy did nothing at all deserving of multiple shots taken and killing him. What bothers me quite a bit is that the FEDS are not allowing local investigation of the scene, nobody is allowed to process or take evidence to bring justice for yet another dead civilian at the hands of these agents who have no place being there and their presence is actually creating the environment that legally trained law enforcement agents are there to diffuse and to protect citizens not to kill them.

I trust PBS and NPR much more than I trust Fox News and I am not sure why even if we ride with your extremist narrative that it is awful to look at a DIFFERENT perspective than the one you are singularly allowing yourself to be involved with. Are you afraid to view an alternative perspective and actually use balanced and critical thinking to see what you can gain from a different view?

It's very narrow of you to suggest that, because you disagree with someone else's POV, they don't see a broad picture of how news is presented/misrepresented/slanted/spun. I follow all perspectives including probably the most ultra conservative place out there which is Zerohedge. i agree, I don't see a gun in his hands either from video I've seen, but at the time of your post and my post none of that information was presented.

 

 

What it looks like happened is that while the agents had him on the ground they saw the weapon and the agent panicked and pulled out his weapon and shot him...he essentially thought he was neutralizing the situation by eliminating any possibile way for the guy to use that weapon against him and the other agents..wrestling situations are chaotic..Does seem to be an overreaction to the situation, but he was involved in an officer situation and put himself in that scene with a weapon on him...doing so is the problem..doesnt justify being shot but we are not the officers on scene and being put in that situation in a hostile environment...anyone of us could panick as well and do the same thing that agent did...it's stressful and these agents are being followed around, recorded and interfered with and whether you or disagree with ICE and its operations it is not wise to be intersecting yourself into that..

if it were my family I would be telling them to stay far away from these agents and not putting yourself in a situation just so you can capture phone footage.. protest all you want, but do so away from active officer scenes....when is this message going to resonate with people...its only happening because peopl are thinking by interfering they are making a difference and they simply are not...its a shame people are being shot and killed but if you weren't there on scene at all this would not be happening...these people are not news reporters and you are putting yourself around officers that are already in a sketchy situation...bad choice in my opinion even if it's legal to do so...make better choices and not leave your life in the hands of some officer who may just shoot because the situation is developing at a rate which can be difficult to process...or, keep doing what you're doing and expect more deaths...life's about choices...

Why do things always have to be so partisan w you ? 

I can simply point out the facts and understand why a 2nd shooting like this occurs.  A local police force that is unsupportive of ICE efforts, combined with a hostile public that inserts itself into ICE efforts, combined with an unwise decision by what should be an educated person (  a nurse)  to bring a gun to a volatile environment.   A CCW permit or not, combine all these factors and you get what we got yesterday. 

And guess what ? More is to come until state/ local officials back down and begin to support the lawful efforts by ICE to extract illegal aliens from our population

When you make posts like this, it shows exactly the person you are.  So tell all of us dummies which media that we should listen to and get our info of whats happening in the country?  The media you watch, is that what we should all be watching because its the best and most truthful. Fox news is not registered as a news organization. They are registered as an entertainment organization, thats why they get away with the bullshit they get away. Your wording is 100% the problem. ICE should be SUPPORTING local efforts, not local efforts supporting ICE. Trump made absolutely zero effort to collaborate and respect local authorities and then you wonder why local citizens and officials are concerned. You cannot SUPPORT someone when they do not work with you and especially when they are supposed to be the ones supporting. Isnt the entire mantra of your TNC/GOP platform that states control, states rights and states making decisions? Or is that just when it serves your agenda and when Trump tramples on states rights that it is justified and appropriate?

Priority ONE should be to support and protect the public, ICE missed that memo they are completely failing at making a situation better, they are making it worse and much much worse.

Ridding the country of criminals that are here illegally IS supporting citizens....protecting the public. They aren't there for their health or to harass American citizens, they're there to arrest & deport illegals that have broken our laws. The poor bastads that buy into what Walz & frey are selling are just complicating the action. Again, if local LE had just worked with them then none of this would be happening. It all comes back to the actions of the crooked local officials that ordered this.

But if that is the metric used they are doing an awful job - Obama administration send way more illegal immigrants out of your country (and according to you 20 million extra have come in after Obama) - Btw if the videos shown over here are correct where ICE deliberately try to create a situation and escalate it - where they deliberately tries for you to ramp their car etc. you are way worse of than what you see in Russia - they don’t escalate things - they just have strict rules where if you don’t follow them you get in trouble - so there a “hide” and out of sight out of mind attitudes actually works
