I don't believe it is.

As per the article, LePage is unwilling to back down when speaking about race. Good for him. I will never understand why everyone has to walk on eggshells when the topic of race comes up.

If blacks eat more watermelon than any other race, then it's not racist to mention it, it is accurate to mention it.

If whites can't dance well, then it's ok to say so (wait, it's already ok to say that)

If the majority of asians tend to back up the golf course because they suck at the game, then it's not racist to say it.

This entire thing with political correctness has gotten out of hand.

It's gotten to the point where we can't mention that which is true out of fear of being labeled a racist, or a bigot.

It seems that LePage has no such fear. Good for him.

The first 11 words from my first post within this thread (which I quoted above) sum up my perspective of LePage.

I finished this post by saying "He is still an idiot".

I'm not quite sure how I can make it any clearer than that.

I chose to integrate my views on PC into my post. I checked with the forum Mods and they assured me that I could post off-topic thoughts while I wax poetically

I actually liked the PC convo. I still stand by the fact with page it is not about PC. It is that what he is saying is inaccurate

You have asked me a few times why I said LePage is an idiot.

I find it hard to believe you are looking for intellectual discussion with this question

But why in your opinion? I don't get the running from the questions here. In the amount of time you have spent making multiple posts avoiding directly answering the question, you could have made one simple statement of why in you personal opinion he is an idiot.

It can be said that he is not and idiot at all and is purposefully, strategically and intelligently doing this on purpose because there are people that will believe him and defend him regardless of his accuracy.

So why in your personal opinion do you choose to call him an idiot? How do you come to that conclusion?
