    @LSU0626

     Speaking of smashing tesla cars.  What I find ironic or comical, not sure which maybe both, is that the majority of tesla owners are likely to be more liberal people.

    So the radical shitlibs (different than regular joe libs) have no clue what the political affiliation is of the owners of the cars they are destroying and odds are the majority of cars being vandalized / destroyed are of liberals.

    pretty stupid.

    @kcblitzkrieg

     How is the Tesla event different than Jan 6th? Is it because the Tesla outrage comes from the alleged left and the Jan 6 outrage came from the right so one is worse than the other?

    Musk has angered many on all sides, for sure there are angry right wing people who have lost jobs and act out it is not just left wing wackos IMO

    @wallstreetcappers

     You like that he kicks the other side and you agree with his biases, nothing wrong with that but he does not twist the knife on your group like ever and his schtick is heavily aimed at the left members here.

    Let's be real here and call it like it is.  If you want to include me in a "group" then include me in the group that actually has conversation and not just regurgitates a copy & paste horse manure façade of a partisan non-sense.  You and I and everyone else know exactly which three (maybe 4) usernames we are talking about and that is the other "group".  There are plenty of posters here on the conservative and liberal sides who converse and go back and forth on issues.  Sometimes it gets heated, fine OK when someone steps out of line then they get their time out.  Nothing wrong with that.

    So the "groups" we have here are two:

    1 - people on all sides of the political spectrum who converse with one another

    2 - three or four usernames who do nothing but cut, paste, emoji, big font, color font, rinse and repeat ridiculous regime propaganda words like nazi, fuhrer, fascist, etc. etc.

    I hardly even post here anymore, most of the fun is gone and people in here seem to be living hanging on by a thread of sanity.  I don't even respond to 90% of the BS I read because its so far out there I don't have the energy or attention span to give my time.

    I've said this too many times to recount but this is an online sports gambling forum.  We are not saving lives.  We are not curing cancer.  We can have some fun in debating various topics and bust some balls locker room banter style.  This is not a shirt & tie sub, it is far from it....hence, the cesspool.

    No reason to try to make it something it is not and will never be.

    @wallstreetcappers

     The tesla event is not like J6 other than it being done by ignorant people who sadly don't realize they don't know any better.

     The tesla event is more like not eating french fries after 9/11 (freedom fries remember)

     Or Boycotting "Bud light"

     Or not watching NFL games because of "kneeling"

     See the theme here??  Accomplished nothing and was a waste of time, energy and resources.  Just like the tesla event.

    Time is a flat circle....

    @kcblitzkrieg

     I will break it down to an even easier classification per the site. There are two groups here in this forum per the site guidelines and general rules. The partisan stuff comes from those who are breaking the rules and are grasping for validation of their rule breaking. When I say group I am speaking only about the site rules.

    Does correlation exist? In a majority of the instances YES it most positively does but there are some on the left side that have issues and have been boxed/banned but no question the majority correlation is there for sure.

    I dont care if you are a moderate if you are a conservative or liberal, male female how much income you have what age you are I dont care. There are no question two groups here and how you want to categorize who goes in what is up to you, I only care about member to member interaction and rule breaking but it is not like this has been stated so many times and yet ignored over and over.

    This Tesla torching and vandalizing is fringe law breaking to protest and express emotions and some are done peacefully and some are not. I see J6 as identical, some went for peaceful protest and some went too far and broke the law.

    There are other examples of protest that led to law breaking and rioting, but given it is a political topic the J6 comparison is accurate to me on many fronts.

    ive noticed maybe half the protests and angry town halls have been in deep red districts  where the republican rep refuses to attend to face his or her own angry constituents !

    so dem reps have been filling the void in those red districts and hearing the complaints that the cowardly republican reps refuse to hear

    in fact the cowardly administration even told their republican reps to avoid attending town halls !

    they dont want the angry backlash from republicans in red districts to get reported in media

    @KellyM_1964

     Cant say there is a winning approach to these town halls because the citizens are upset from the mess Trump is creating and the abusive way Musk is going about this government low wage job cutting and then the rep cant agree with the citizens because if they do then the heavy handed thug Trump will make a vendetta to run them out of office so there is no way out of the situation and I think we are seeing that these reps will take citizen abuse over Trump draconian flogging and them being out of office for not following the TNC narrative.

    Pretty spot on. peace_5

     I also agree that much is taken way too serious. I live in a "blue state", but in reality it's more like 55/45, +/-3% at any given time. I've friends on both sides of the spectrum, but we remain friends because we all root for the same thing......a strong & prosperous America for our kids/Gkids. Sure, we jab each other in good fun, but politics really aren't discussed much at all......just not a good use of time with friends. Here, one can get caught up in the hoopla & act outside themselves. But I guess it's better to do that here than taking it to the streets.

    Yes. You are correct.  That is why I have stated my play on energy and gas from some time back, in part.  But also including other dynamic issues.
    If you throw out the 2020 year and look at the monthly chart it will generally bottom out in Jan or Feb and go up in Mar and through the summer.  Demand and seasonality grade change is a major driver for this.  The northern hemisphere is the major driver for this of course.

    For example:

    2021 Jan 2.42  Mar 2.89

    2022 Jan 3.41  Mar 4.32

    2023 Jan 3.44  Mar 3.53

    2024 Jan 3.19  Mar 3.54

    2025 Jan 3.19  Mar 3.22

    MAGA inflation fears grip the nation

    Washington CNN —

    The American consumer is getting worried about the economy.
    Economic jitters are showing up across various sentiment survey.

    The latest evidence comes from The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index. The index fell for the third-straight month and marking the largest monthly decline since August 2021, as expectations for inflation in the year ahead climbed.

    That coincides with the trends reflected in the University of Michigan’s consumer survey

    The war in Ukraine will be over in 24 hours.

    So will Gaza.

    There will be 90 trade deals in 90 days.

    No tax on tips.

    No tax on overtime.

    Interest on car loans will be tax deductible.

    No tax on Social Security.

    He will balance the budget.

    Tariffs will pay for everything.

    And the deplorables ate it all up.
