Trump said at his news briefing today (which this very unhealthy piece of dog poop cant even stand up for, always needs to be seated, yet he ragged on bidens health) said walmarts Thanksgiving meal is cheaper this year then last years, what this gian douche bag didnt say was that walmart reduced the size of the meal and replaced name brand products with walmarts cheap own brand " great value" thats why the package is cheaper. So a reporter asked him, since you bring up the walmart package, did you know the package was smaller and the name brand products were replaced, he then said that he didnt hear that, then asked the reporter which news station they were with (which doesnt frigging matter) and she said NBC  AND THEN HE SAID, NBC THAT STATION IS ALL FAKE NEWS AND BRUSHED HER OFF. (amazing nbc wasnt fake news when his 100 percent fake tv show was on nbc)

Trumpy then went on to say that he does not want to hear about affordability, cause the prices of everything are way down. Trumpy does no belong being the President, he belongs in the mental ward of a Federal prison serving a life term.

All the people that voted for this ass clown, especially the maga morons who hate our country so much, they want it all torn down are the blame for bringing this guy into power. I have cared about the well being of people, no matter who the people were my whole life, or i wont have done the job i did in life, but trumpy has made me totally disgusted with all his cult members and i could care less about any of them. To me they are all traitors to Our Country and actually pissing on the graves of all the people who died making Our Country.an_brick  Wait until the trailer eviction notices come for the magas. Will they continue sending trumpy money weekly, cause they enjoy watching people who dont look like them being swiped off the street.

The damage trumpy has already done for future generations of kids is off the charts and these kids can all blame their own insane parents for this.paint_help

TRUMPY, I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT AFFORDABILITY LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. THATS THE MORON THE MORONS VOTED FOR.

Trump proposed 50 years mortgage is not a solution to lack of affordable housing.  Instead of building equity, homeowners would be trapped in debt longer.  Madness for them to work into their 80s or 90s to pay off a home. Besides, subsidizing demand without increasing supply could increase prices.  So savings from long mortgage could be negated by higher prices.  Better to lower interest rate, offer down payment assistance and encourage building of affordable housing.

If you wonder why Trump is so keen on lowering it even further it is because all your “benefit” payments (every payment you receive from the government) + most of your 401k is bound to the interest or inflation rate (don’t know which one - because that differs between countries - but 100% one of them) - so if they lower that they don’t have to pay you as much money - believe me with these policies they couldn’t care less what you are paying for your stuff

Despite warnings from economists, Trump has repeatedly claimed that his tariffs do not raise prices.  But if tariffs had no impact on grocery prices, then he would not need to roll them back now.  Since US cannot grow quality coffee and tropical fruits cheaply, better to import them from other countries.  Polls show most Americans say Trump policies made US economic conditions worse.

Der Führer of the MAGA Reich has been relentlessly stating for several months that his tariffs WILL NOT cause price increases. an_arsed

Yet now he seeks to reduce his own tariffs in order to LOWER the price pinch (inflation!) that consumers feel confused

No doubt he is working on a way to blame Joe Biden and the Democrats for this mess which HE created...

That man has absolutely no idea what he is doing an_roll_laughRemoving tariffs now will have close to no effect on food prices - the big food stores don’t adjust prices like that - it wasn’t because Trump told them to eat the tariffs that they did - it is how their business models operate - if tariffs are removed they will just get a higher profit margin until real “inflation” catches up (but of course he should still remove them as they do nothing good for you)

Trump policies increase housing costs.  National association of home builders warn that tariffs on building materials add thousands of dollars to price of new home.  Mass deportation worsens labor shortage in construction industry where many workers are immigrants.  50 years mortgage proposal increases total interest cost.  Lack of affordable housing remains a problem without more supply.

But the whole premise is wrong - you don’t want lower prices even though you think you do - prices as a whole are supposed to rise (what Trump is doing that is wrong is the REASON for its surge) - if prices don’t rise it is because you are in a recession - so he might aswell have promised you a recession during his speeches - btw the problems you face with tariffs are miniscule compared to what you face when the AI bubble pops what that will do to your market - you guys should not talk about anything but how you get AI to take off - so much of your economy is bound to its success - and it is hard to see how that investment is ever going to pay off - when you see how shitty AI in its current form is - and how much energy it consumes

And instead of maybe accepting facts that you might have made the worst investment in your history (at least since you have no plans of using renewable energy sources) rather than taking the reasonable approach and cut your losses short regarding AI - they keep doubling down on its success !! That should be what keeps you up at night if you have children you want to have a future

         Trump’s ‘Marie Antoinette Thing’
       Could Decapitate GOP in Midterms

Americans are [stressed] about how they’re gonna pay their bills, and [the asshole-in-the-Oval is] posting stuff about how he’s gonna have marble handrails at the Kennedy Center. And he’s posting marble pictures of his new marble Palm Room at the White House and so on.

And people are saying to themselves, “What the hell does that have to do with me? I thought he was gonna be fighting for me to bring my costs down, and he seems obsessed with gold and putting his name on things and remodeling buildings and rebuilding monuments to himself.”

And I think this is a huge political problem for him. It’s a symbol of his distraction. It’s the Marie Antoinette thing. That is a big political problem, but not for him… He’s not on the ballot in next November, but Republicans should be really concerned about what they’re seeing."

    INCREASING TARIFF-taxes on Americans

    Monday, Jan 12 -

“Effective immediately, any Country doing business
with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a Tariff of 25%
on any and all business being done with the United
States of America,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“This Order is final and conclusive,” he added.

an_light [the idiot sex-offender/FELON in the Oval] said on Monday that countries that do business with Iran will face a new 25% tariff. The announcement appears to mean goods from China, a major trading partner of both Iran and the United States, would become significantly more expensive to import.
