When middle/lower-middle class are forced to subsidize others then the net result is fewer people being able to afford to actually see a Dr.
Illogical to assume subsidizing other people would reduce access to healthcare for population. More insurance revenue allows more people to be insured especially the poor and sick who most need healthcare. The rich should be paying more taxes to subsidize universal healthcare system as in other countries.

Not just illogical but irrational. The ignorance on the right is a LARGE part of what is holding this country back...

The Atlantic reports that all Trump attempts to improve affordability are backfiring. For examples, tariffs dividend, ban on corporations buying homes, cap on credit card interest rate and Trump Rx.

The latest data underscores how US consumers have been under pressure in recent months.
Over the past year [under the failing MAGA regime]
- hiring in the United States has slowed to a crawl,
- people’s feelings about the economy have crumbled
- and inflation has remained stubbornly elevated.

Just for context - Danish inflation went from 1.9 to 0.8 in a month (Dec 2025-Jan. 2026) which was only weeks after we as population demanded them to lower it Hurray for having people in charge that know what they are doing and listen to their population (and yeah I know eventually it will go up as it is bad to have it this low for prolonged times - but hi it is fun to see that we are able to do what the fuck we want - with no consequences to our markets at all - we are a fucking machine)
Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

In 2024, Trump promised to slash energy costs by half. Instead costs are higher except for gasoline because OPEC increased production in 2025. Even there, price decrease continues long term trend that started under Biden in 2022. Harvard economist Furman warns that Trump gutting of wind and solar projects has increased electricity rates.

Iran war risks driving up costs of oil and gas worldwide. Especially if energy infrastructure is damaged and shipping restricted in the middle east. Volatility of oil and gas markets underscores global need to transition to renewable energy.

Did you guys catch RFK recommending eating liver instead of beef? This fool thinks most Americans are dining on porterhouses 5 days a week lololol. Dude must have brain worms again
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Friday suggested people eat liver or “cheap cuts” in response to the high cost of beef.
“This is true all over the country. There’s a lot of good food in grocery stores that goes away. Most of the cheap cuts of meat are very inexpensive,” Kennedy said at an event hosted by MAHA Action, a political action committee dedicated to supporting the “Make America Healthy Again” agenda.
“If you buy, you know, a porterhouse steak, it’s going to, it is going to take you back. You can buy liver or the cheaper cuts of steak that are very, very affordable,” he added.
Updated Dietary Guidelines for Americans released earlier this year placed proteins like red meat at the top of the new upside-down food pyramid, alongside vegetables and fruits.
But the cost of red meat has shot up over the last year. The average cost of a pound of ground beef went from $5.54 to $6.75 between January 2025 and January 2026, the highest cost on record, despite a statement by President Trump in his State of the Union address that the price of beef is falling.
Beef liver is not a commonplace food in the U.S., with the industry-funded marketing and research program Beef Checkoff noting in 2022that there is “very minimal demand for beef variety meats like tongue, lips, liver, heart, kidney, stomach and intestine here in the U.S.,” with most of the demand for those cuts coming from international consumers.

According to yahoo news, Vance accidentally said the reason why gas prices are where they are is because of Trump's work. Democrats should use video of Vance in future election ads.
