Government should be trying to keep the most competent workers. However under Trump administration, qualified workers are purged and their replacements are less experienced. Bloomberg reports disturbing pattern of lower standards in hiring. For examples, ICE, FBI, justice department and Trump's cabinet. Featuring all opposites of meritocracy such as cronyism, nepotism, aristocracy and plutocracy. Inexperienced workers are easier to manipulate in corrupt organizations.

I see today that -due to so many DOJ staff being fired and or quit in righteous indignation - trump's BADministration is having trouble receiving enough qualified applicants, so now they have lowered the standards so that lawyers with no experience whatsoever are free to apply and may be accepted [well assuming they first pass the "trump is God" loyalty above all else test]

Again, comedy...promote fair treatment all you want when it comes to humanity of people in general, but as soon as you start demanding fairness that a business hire you to meet some standard that was not set by the business you lost all fairness....hiring someone because you are forced to is not fairness at all....that's not freedom nor why you went into business...you should be able to hire who you want based on experience and qualifications and fitness for the job at hand not because you fir a scale or model published by some nobody's...get real about fairness...life isn't fair, that's just how it is...

While still working, I hired a black female for a tech job in Norfolk, VA.
When I got back to SFLA, the Human Resources Director said I hit a "double." I didn't know what he meant & he said "A Double...female & black."
I was never pressured to hire/not hire anyone. In fact our VP had his son interview with me & I told hm his kid was a wise guy & a smartass. I said I don't want him for the summer & he was cool with it. The kid ended getting hired with the building maintenance crew.
I've been lucky to work for a few classy corporations & know it's not like that everywhere. Down here if you are not bi-lingual & can speak English & Spanish it's tough to get a job in Miami. It's almost a required skill set.
