Hard to go against any Commander in Chief who has intelligence that none of us have and the intel on where these guys were meeting was very solid so it is not too far fetched to think that they saw an opportunity to remove the majority of them because on day 1 it appears the whole gang was removed and that almost never happens...it was a surprise attack that is for sure....if the US wanted to do away with any ambiguity of the language and wanted all acts of war or military action to go through congress then there has been decades to do so but it has not happened....there is a reason why this has not been removed and I can only speculate, but I believe having to involve the house and congress for something like this would cause it to be leaked or delayed too long and therefore would minimize any ability for it to be a surprise attack...I don't think this Article language ever gets changed, but that is something that can be argued at this point...I, personally, just don't see it getting any traction because past President's have invoked the same clause... 

Iran girls elementary school bombed
