(Don't read the following. Any talk about race on Covers is race-baiting)

Juror in Georgia case scheduled for execution this month: "I have wondered if black people even have souls." On September 26, Georgia intends to execute Keith Leroy Tharpe, who is black, for the murder of his estranged wife. According to Tharpe's attorneys, one juror signed an affidavit that distinguished between "Black folks" and "Ni***." [Rhonda Cook / Atlanta Journal-Constitution] The juror allegedly said that the victim and her family are "nice black folks" and that Tharpe "wasn't in the good black folks category in [his] book." The juror also apparently said that "[s]ome of the jurors voted for death because they felt that Tharpe should be an example to other blacks who kill blacks, but that wasn't [his] reason." So, what was the reason then? "After studying the Bible, I have wondered if black people even have souls. . . . [L]ook at O.J. Simpson. That white woman wouldn't have been killed if she hadn't have married that black man." [Tharpe v. Warden (pages 15, 16)]

(I'm sure this is just an isolated incident of course)...

Come on, Scal, admit it, this must be an article from The Onion. The are no racists in this country, just "many sides, many sides."

Scal, I found this while surfing the internet and I'm pretty sure the following clip was posted by the black community in reference to you continually speaking on their behalf:

The 'blue' states have a terrible track record in this regard on the whole.

Studies always get race and social class screwed up. Sadly, because of liberal welfare, black has become synonymous with poor.

Nothing is more disproportionate than the male/female rate in prisons.

Except what you just posted is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT TO THE OP which is highlighting the jury selection process in this country and how regardless of evidence you are dead in the water from the start. How the hell can someone who openly admits blacks DONT HAVE SOULS become a juror and worse after admitting that the decision is allowed to stand.

AND THIS IS FOR SOMEONE BEING PUT TO DEATH.

Thanks for the smell test, but you've always done nothing but hold your nose on the issue of race and blacks.

Remember when liberals said the problem with police departments was that there wasn't enough blacks/minorities?

Well, that experiment has been a proven failure.

Looks like it's time to change the goalposts.

I don't believe you or anyone else has a soul... so that would disqualify me as a juror in your rule book........

Can you prove that people have souls?

What scientific evidence do you have, that can prove that a soul actually exist
    in any person?

Interestingly, statistically, blacks do not receive disproportionate sentences and are not more likely to receive the death penalty than whites.

With that being said, Furman v. Georgia and its progeny have shown that the RACE is the most important factor.

A black victim, statistically, leads to a lesser punishment than a white victim.

1 in 3 Black Males will be involved in the Criminal Justice System, resulting in Blacks( 13% of the population) making up 34% of the prison population.

Is that the existence of Overwhelming Racism in every Police Dept. in the country OR the existence of a Criminal Class??

It's the result of 70% of black people being raised in broken homes. 70% of black kids are raised in broken homes because of the welfare state pushed by democrats.

But GENDER is obviously much much more of a factor than race is. I mean, it isn't even close.
