Anyhoo...a few years ago I upgraded my panels to increase production and now I produce MORE than I consume, so using your logic this means I am energy independent right? WRONG...I participate with the net metering program and even though I produce MORE than I consume I still have a bill for two months of the year because of my participation with the utility in my area. Same goes with the outright and blatant lie about energy independence. We never will be energy independent and it does not matter that we produce MORE than we consume because prices that the US consumer pays is based on participation in global markets. Oil prices and thus gas prices are directly tied to world markets and the cartel even IF we allegedly produce more than we consume. Trump obviously does not understand market dynamics and truths to the point of spewing lies about this and about every other promise he made. I do not believe out of touch clowns so whatever he said I knew was a flat out lie meant to get votes and this entire thread about Trump being able to cut 50% off of production costs, for Trump to cut gas prices, grocery prices, inflation on the FIRST DAY, for Trump to promise a two sided coin is just part of his platform of deception and fraud.
