Most of the hate comes from the leader of the republican party who is not even a 

republican and people follow his lead. Going back to saying predominately black

Comment isn't to be taken seriously. Those aren't my sentiments but that is my sense of humor. With that said, most police shooting victims aren't innocent. Doesn't mean they deserve to die. And while i'm not particularly a Charlie Kirk fan, the man didn't deserve to die for being conservative.

On a side note, who gets killed in Orem, Utah? Have any of you ever been to/through Orem? Let's just say that you wouldn't expect to find people who disagree with Charlie Kirk, if you catch my drift?

Yeah I know Orem very well actually and there are absolutely so few liberals in Orem/Provo that its likely the person is not from the area.

 But there is an irony to this event! Kirk himself said that people dying from gun violence was acceptable in exchange for our 2nd amendment rights.

Its just that when he said that he probably meant school children and minorities were worthy of sacrifice at the alter of firearms. But maybe now when people say that, they will know it means them too. Which maybe will make them rethink it. It’s much easier to be ok with gun violence when you think other people are the victims.

The none of the cities along the I-15 corridor are far from the mountain. When you're in Orem, they're right there. I've stayed in Orem a few times, and i've been at trailheads in like 10 minutes. And that whole corridor can can get pretty damn windy.

 But yeah, if you see a liberal in Utah, they're on a road trip. I've been roadtripping to/through Utah for over 20 years now. I feel like I can count on one hand all the times I have seen another black person in Utah. Maybe two hands but that's in 20 years. And when you do, it's always in a college town, and they always look like they're on a team.

My statement was tongue in cheek. I just think it was too clean for political violence.

This is America. We're built on gun violence. No one is rethinking anything. Everybody knows that anybody can get it at any time. If anything, that's part of the fear that's promoted to justify there being no infringement on the second amendment. Nobody's rethinking anything.

200 yards (or meters) is not a difficult shot with a scope, any halfway decent hunter or weekend range shooter could hit a target like Charlie at 200 yards.  It was reported he had a white shirt on and he was seated so a stationary target who's a big man at 6'3 and not to be insensitive but the guy had a big head on his shoulders.  Obviously, the scope was dialed in right and maybe the wind took it off the mark (headshot) but not by much.  No one aims for the neck, the shot was either for the head or chest and was off the mark a little.  My first thought was this was a pro hit.  one shot one kill, no gun found no bullet casing found, still on the run.  If you saw the closeup video you knew there was no way he would make it, he instantly lost so much blood.  Charlie didn't feel a thing, the bullet most likely severed his spinal cord on the way out from body posture.  I don't recommend seeking out the videos if you haven't seen them yet, I wish I didn't clink on that link myself
