This is the right decision and it was after rounds of discussions with the Iranian regime that went nowhere...the people of Iranian are getting what they asked for, but will they be able to force change there after the dust settles???
Personally, I'm not fully confident that they can, but we will see how this plays out....
Nice that Israel got Trump over a barrel and took out one of their enemies without congress giving the go ahead and classy how Trump berated Obama in this exact scenario and then turned into a lackey when he was in the seat.

Lets not get carried away about the approval from congress...this is nothing new where congress is not part of the process to atrack or participate in acts of war or strikes..
Correct me if im wrong, but wasn't congress bypassed when Clinton went to Somalia in 93 with operation black hawk down...Bosnia in 95...Kosovo in 99 or what about when Obama attacked Libya in 2011...Iraq and Syria when he attacked Isis from 2014-17 or Yemen as part of a support role....
I mean that pretty nullifies any rebuttal about how congress needs to be involved before the US can attack or participate in strikes against or in other countries...

Trump's reasons for attacking Iran again make no sense. First, Iran was not an imminent threat to US national security. No evidence Iran has a nuclear weapon or missiles capable of reaching the US. Iranian negotiators made good offers but Trump did not want peace or a deal. Secondly, history shows regime change usually don't happen without a ground invasion because air power alone is insufficient. Trump reckless war is similar to Russian invasion of Ukraine because power mad dictators tend to make bad decisions. How could Trump and Putin be so stupid?

How many of those events led to the death of their leader and if you want to keep tallies Trump has done even more with Venezuela, Gaza and now this. You think starting a war with Iran is the same as what happened in your examples?
I would compare this to Iraq more than Somalia or Libya and last least with Iraq Bush lied but got fraudulent buy-in from congress first. What exactly is the reason why we went into this now, is it the BAD MAN stuff Trump is blubbering about, is it the uranium or the lack of human rights? I consider Gaza and this in the camp especially so close to each other and for the purpose to back up Israel and forward their objectives AND the loss of life. How many lives were lost with Somalia, Libya or Bosnia and how long did these continue and at what cost?

The War Powers Resolution requires the president to consult Congress within 48 hours of a military offensive and cease actions within 60 days if Congress has not voted in support of them. Congress could still assert control over what the Pentagon is calling Operation Epic Fury sooner if it wanted to.

Trump did not take anyone out, Israel did. Amos Yadlin, a retired Israeli Air Force general, said that Israel carried out a strike on Iran's leadership because of decades-old U.S. laws restricting the targeting of heads of state.

Ok so without the US being the bully club secondary does Israel take this action? Do you think that without the US that Israel would have done this? If you do then you are mistaken...we are the muscle for them so the regional players do not completely take them down. Without the US being the muscle Israel would have done none of their offensive actions because all other players would join together and obliterate them.

My point was compare apples to apples not an event which is small pots vs this massive situation and for sure Gaza and even Venezuela. I asked where you draw the line because if you bring in little puppy examples that a DEM did as a deflection then context would be appropriate.
I did not excuse a DEM, I think you are attempting to play partisan poker and I wont fall into that trap, the only thing I said is I do not compare the choices Trump has made outside of congress to be equal to the examples you tried to associate and correlate with.

Putting words in my mouth, what a shocker.
I stated Trump is following the War Powers Act.
You stated that the proper plan would have been to covertly take out one leader but Trump blasted his face on every single thing.
I pointed out it was Israel who killed the 40+ leaders and pubicly said so.
IMO, covertly taking out one person is not going to solve anything. And whether Israel would have done it alone or the U.S. does it alone is speculation not worth discussing.
The facts are; Iran has a history supporting terrorism. Iran has spent billions trying to create a nuclear arsenal. Trump and Israel destroyed much of that capability back in July. Iran turned around and keeps moving on, and I'm sure faster, developing nuclear capabilities. They didn't heed the message. Unless they agree to stop all nuclear ambitions what else is left to do?
It's risky, sure. How much US involvement is questionable. But the alternative was Iran continue to kill their own people who desire freedom and then waiting for the day Iran starts a nuclear war. Cannot bury your head in the sand forever.

Using your analysis why are we going after or being involved with this situation when again using your measures there are MUCH bigger fish to fry? Iran is no threat to the US and never has been so isnt the purpose for ANY military involvement is a measure of harm to the US, not to cater to Israel and their zionist agenda?
There were no precipitating events that caused this situation to escalate like ever but especially in the last month and yet we go forward to enable and support the removal of a country leader (again) without cause or without involvement with congress.
No need to try and fluff a narrative we including you know what this is and why it happened and the intentional agenda Trump has not involving congress because to this point has he involved congress in ANYTHING he has done?
The reason I want you to give parameters and boundaries is because that is how our government works it is not a fascist king who does what he wants and nobody has to follow the framework of our government and constitution and especially your political partisan side has to be strongly understanding this even more than the nasty evil lib side. Your side pounds the pavement on the framework of the government and the constitution and yet you have all the shade in the world for Trump, it just does not work like that...well it does because we see it does but that wont be lasting too much longer.
