Online Poker Rigged?

If it's rigged where is the proof? Why isn't anyone suing them, class action law suit. I play everyday and at the end of the week I'm in the profit. Doesn't matter how much, it's just I'm in the profit. Has anyone ever thought, maybe it's the person sitting in the chair that didn't get the right cards? Maybe it's not your lucky night? Maybe the person that is calling you with crap has more balls?

Online poker cannot be rigged because ChanceP says it is not.  FWIW, he also sold me some fairy dust at a discounted price.

PokerStars and Fulltilt are not rigged. Not a chance at all. they make so much money as it is. they would have way to much to lose if they got caught,

Whats to stop three or four guys from getting on the phone or a chat web site and entering a sit n go and cleaning house!

I knew someone sponsored by a lesser known site and he would get access to details such as what players were logged in and losing a lot, how much money they had, how they were playing, the whole history.  Too me that's a huge advantage, there might be software that does that now (I don't know). 

With the big sites like Full Tilt, Stars I would be more concerned with people playing together on the same table, it's hard too stop and too prove collusion, short of leaving the table. 

With the smaller sites I worry about getting paid out, and have had bad experiences in the past, where I thought the site was delaying a cashout purposely hoping I would play the casino or sports wagering.  So quick to take the money, too slow to pay out.

My sites go Fulltilt, Stars, Betfair (great for Omaha) I think underated (plus I got paid quick).  The first two make a lot money off rake, so the company's themselves might not be doing anything, I worry about players.  The house pros probably get information not available to Joe Public as well.

For the record I loose at online poker freequently (small amounts), but I know why, it has nothing to do with badbeats.  By the way some peoples notion of a bad beat is way off in my opinion.  I think it has to involve something like you flop top set and loose to running quads of an underpair. Or Aces versus A5 and the board ends up quads.

If it's rigged we won't know until more insiders blow the whistle, hackers get caught, or I don't know what.  In the meantime I enjoy small  tournaments, and have narrowed done the sites I trust playing at.

the same shit happens over and over.... i deposit 30bucks...work it up to over 300 in a day or 2.. then on day 3 get delivered the most horrendous beats imaginable.. it happens over and over.  they definitely rig the sites for action. greed has no boundaries remember that!!  you know the people who own these sites have ties to terrorism right??

General rule of thumb here is to look for players from the same place .. most poker sites show location and watch to see if they ever square off against each other.  Obviously people don't need to be from the same place to do this but often it is friends talking on msn, phone, etc. 

I finished 3rd in sng once with these 2 douche bags from the same town in France finishing 1-2.  I knew what they were doing.  I emailed pokerstars and asked them to look into it.  Took them about a week to 10 days but i got an email back telling me how seriously they take these things and after reviewing the hand histories both players were banned and winnings removed from their account.  I was also awarded the first place prize for the sng.   

Do you have proof of this?  Such as an internet link to an article?  I'd like to see proof of your last statement.  Not calling you a liar on the matter, but it would be nice to see proof of your statement.

I am 78 years old..and over the years have lost much much money playing online poker.  And I have come to the conclusion that you do not really know who you are playing against...dah

I was playing Poker in Reno several years ago, a tournament.   And met a Man who invested in these off shore Poker Sites.  H e told me tricks that are used, where you cannot win.

ahhhhh KC Earl, another bitter storyteller. Guy has all these stories of riggedness and cheating yet no proof, what a surprise. Yet thousands of innocent honest players have tracked millions of hands and theres nothing wrong.

You have 96 posts and EVERYONE OF THEM is bashing the online game!!! lol.  So really it sounds like youre only goal here is to discredit poker sites without any proof or stats just cuz youre not as good at poker as you think you are.

 

So really heres the facts. I have won over 20K playing casually the last 2 years and have the stats to prove it. You, on the other hand, have a bunch of "stories: with absolutely no proof to back them up other than "its obvious" ot "some guy told me."

I've been playing poker for 30 years( online for about 7). For the 1st 61/2 years I was a winning player. I would go thru the usual bad streaks like all good players. I had a substantial BR to get me thru the rough periods. I forgot to mention that I haven't reloaded since year 1.

About a year and a half ago things went into the toilet. My rough period began and has never ended. It got to a point where I had friends/fellow players watch my action. They were shocked that I continued playing at the site or online for that matter. I stayed on just to track my play and for research. My BR is close to zero.

I have a business/math degree at a prominent university and I conclude that there is something not right. Of course, I could be the unluckiest human for the past year or so but very doubtful. I have my theories as to why they might be rigging play but I will not beat a dead horse here.  

And yes I've played well over 2 million hands.
