and it's not the bad beats i'm talking about..

there are countless examples of people colluding, cheating, open cards.. executives playing and knowing what cards you have.. just do a simple search..

the worst part is that all of this was covered up and it took a lot of trouble to unearth it.

    Is it rigged?? No,
Is it totally random?? Probably not.
It's somewhere in the middle. If you play well, you will do fine, the biggest problem I have with on-line poker is that too many people play junk hands. At least in live poker, you have the embarrassment of playing junk cards and winning. Players will make comments, you will get laughed at, you will get joked on, etc. On-line no one sees you, so people can call a 3x the pot bet with a Q-10, or a 6-4 suited, etc.

1- if you play micro limits, you are going to be call a lot of shity hands, and you can get beat.
2- Random or not, there is people who make their living playing online poker.

So are you just a bad player???? Because if you lose your money someone else is going to get it, remeber the online sites only takes the rake, in tournaments there are just a few winners, so if in a tournament that pays the first 30 places and it registers 5000 players the site is going to make profit from 4970 LOSERS!

Last week I deposited $20 in the i poker network, now I'm taking out $100 playing sit and goes double up!

Are you just a LOSER or a WINNER?

Don't swaet the "Slob", Chance. Just proves how much he has lost playing online poker. Someone this bitter has lost a lot. Probably his entire life away. I esp. love the "eventually everyone loses" comments. He only posts on Covers to express how fixed  online poker is. Funny, I am still playing online poker and doing quite well. Hmmmmm....Guess they're just against the "Slobs" of the world.

    EXACTLY

He's awesome. The "all players lose eventually" line is EPIC. The typical shitty player who feels the only difference between him and Daniel Negreanu is luck

Hey Chance, have you noticed Slob ONLY pops into posts regarding how fixed online poker is? This is extremly funny to me. I just wonder if this guy has competed in "live" events. I am assuming if he has, he would also claim these are fixed. If you are a poor poker player, you will eventually start blaming any and other circumstances. "Site is rigged", "The other players are in collusion", "The dealer can see my hole cards", "I get bad beats more than ANYONE", "I was distracted by the clock ticking on the wall".
Like I have said before, we all have bad beats laid upon us. We all occasionaly go on some form of "tilt". It is in that moment how we overcome it. Do we walk away from the table with a profit? Are we cashing out more than we deposit. Well, chances are if we are playing consistantly online for the last 6 years, the answer is "yes". It's time all you "slobs" stop hating the game and look at the player. I shouldn't have to explain that to you, yet I'm compelled to.

People cheat live, so I don't doubt that people are cheating on-line, computer hackers, multiple accounts, friends playing at the same tables. That said, I know people who make a  6 figure income living playing on-line, and they aren't hackers.

As for beats, I used to deal, and those beats I see on-line, I've seen all of them live, and I've seen all of the same donkey calls from desperate gamblers that I see on-line, live as well.

People don't trust computers, especially when they loose constantly.

One thing I see on-line, if I deposit to a site I haven't played in a long time, well low and behold I have a great run of cards :).  Then I play looser or don't catch as much, and go tap lol.  But that's my own fault.

If you're loosing, everything is fixed, sports, casino, jacks, crazy eights,  if the fix is in stop playing.

If Russ Hamilton, the World Series of Poker winner can get caught in an online scam, what makes anyone think that this is an isolated event?
I would bet that it has gone on in the past and will continue to go on. The only reason Hamilton got caught was because he got too greedy.

Many probably fly under the radar.

I know people make a living playing online, and thats great and all, I know this to be fact, on or off, in a ring game 5 players against 1 is not good odds for the person getting tagged teamed. If you think for 1 min it doesnt happen then you need to take up sewing or maybe some paint drying classes. I HAVE seen it with my own eyes, FACT. All im saying is be careful who play with, and no question live or off the person who is dealing the cards. I wont cheat but, I can deal and break the game if I chose. With this being said open your damn eyes people. gl

well i guess i work for 3 poker sites then according to these idiots. and yes like everyone keeps saying you need a to play a large sample size to understand that its NOT rigged. thers software out there like pokertracker that will keep track of all of your hands and you will see its hte exact same as live in the long run everyone gets the same amount of luck. I have played probably a million or more mtt's/sngs. I sustain one of the better ROI's for the 20-60$ buyin's at bodog/cake/fulltilt. anyone who claims its rigged is just sorry at poker. im sick of hearing i have aa it gets cracked by 26 offsuit congrats. If you are the type of player sticking to the top 10 hands or so you dont need to play big stack poker. theres something called expressed odds and implied odds for playing suited connectors and just connectors. because of people like YOU guys who wont lay down top pair.

I have never been on the covers poker forum but I must say it amazes me how many poker players still believe online is rigged. Yes there were some bad sites such as UB that got caught and it was an insider. These sites make to much money in rake everyday to rig it so that they can make even more money. I play on pokerstars and FullTilt and am a winning MTT player. I have decent amount of money the last 3 years in online poker. For you people that talk about seeing quads all the time and the such do you realize how many more hands you are playing in an hour online?  Now if you are playing multi tables how many more hands do you think you are playing then you would in a live setting? You play roughly 30 an hour live while you play 60+ online and that is just on one table.. But I guess if you lose you need something to blame it on huh?

notice you guy say its rigged , But what advantage does the company have by rigging it ? There another people out there that like playing poker they don't need to rig the game . you also have to remember its random  generated system. you also have to remember with a live game they do like 200 hands and hr. online poker can do like 1000 hr . Also in live game there are three cards that are burned in online poker your playing with all the cards. Live game you are there total of 18 cards out of 52 card deck so know there  cards in the deck then 1 burn card then 33 cards  another burn card 32 and then another burn card 31. okay know online poker  no burn cards after 18 cards are dealt with 9 players you have cards 34 left know flop no burn so know you are down to 31 no burn card another card come up 30 know another card comes up 29 cards left in the deck , Know see alot people tell me the burn does not mean anything but if you going on the 52 card deck them that means there are more cards in the deck  in online poker game then there is in live game. so the ace,j,q or k in live game might not be there but its there in a online game because online they don't subject cards from the deck . So yeah there gonna be alot more bad beats based  on if you are trying to play online poker like you would be playing live poker . just something to think about :).
