If he sent it over false pretenses it's certainly a crime. "She" told him one thing, did another. How seriously the police will take it depends on how many people contact them over her.

This could get HUGE.

Bad new for her is that she got too big. With ESPN involved you're going to have alllllllllllll these sports blogs talking about it for a week. In 7 hours since the story came out so far 4-5 people have already come forward saying they got scammed.

Who knows what the real number is.. it'll all keep coming out and hopefully they all band together and go after this group. We'll probably find out it's some syndicate.

In these scam cases most people just keep quiet because they don't want to admit publicly that they were scammed. Now we just have to hope that they all come forward, and from what i remember at the time here at covers, A LOT of people defended her, which leads me to think many of them handed her money. We are now watching the Covers version of Titanic.

Breaking News:
Now people who went to HS with her, are posting old photos
Also it appears that she is using the pictures of at least 3 other schoolmates from HS.

? @Prehmmr

So Philips is using photos of girls in the 04, 05, and 07 classes. I knew the other two through other friends. This story is simply odd.

Oh my god, this rabbit hole seems infinite. We can only imagine the amount of cons and lies involved in this. This is going to get really messy.

I feel sorry for anyone who bought the bullshit this box (44-year-old divorced father of 3) was spewing.

Just read this on this Deadspin.

Man I wish Crowkillers was still here to enjoy this. Me and him used to try to expose that Phony so much.

So glad someone did a proper investigation on this fraud.

I still have some old pics with the original SJP.

remember when he/she horribly photoshopped "SJP" on that poor girl's picture:

https://i50.tinypic.com/2rz2lmx.jpg

Or her picture with his/her BF?

https://i47.tinypic.com/106cwsm.jpg

Deadspin. Feel free to use these pics.

BTW: "Sarah Philips" is one of the top trending on Twitter right now. Hopefully this poor girl whose pics were stolen from this fraud will stumble into this story.

And can someone find the thread where she wanted to sue me for defamation? High comedy
