Catdog and Pete thanks thats solid advise...I am built to succeed I just have been very fast and swift with my decisions. I have started to learn to think things through and I will be fine! And Cave I did well in NFL shaky day record wise but netted 600 unit or so profit due to Hitting all 5star plays and all parlays. Thanks again to solid people who follow and care.

LV Asian is correct. North LV is very slummy. Summerlin is very nice. Unemployment is high. my advice is you need much self-discipline to survive as a gambler in LV. People think they can be the next Chris Moneymaker or Billy Hughes, just be yourself and be grateful for your existence.

I changed it Dc 1=50$ I have posted the change on my wrieup of tonights game Ohio vs Temple check it out,,,thanks everyone BOL. Yes staying was my best option right now I need to save alot of money first and visit for a week once before making a change like that. Decisions based on instinct and quick thinking will not work learning patience. Cheers

Got a job offer from Tmobile off craigslist sight unseen with my pretty good resume. As far as money my brother is getting me plane ticket(one way lol). And giving me money to get started for room and food for a month till I start getting paid. I am excited about the move from Cleveland and hope I can start a new life and begin a good future! I have no family to miss and only one or 2 friends I trust here so transition should be easy. Wish me luck guys I am leaving next Tuesday...I hope this isn't going to be too bad without a vehicle for a bit...

I moved back and fourth to Vegas 3 times because it was so hard to make enough money to stay. If you find it hard to get by after being there for a few months i would suggest checking out Laughlin Nevada. It's only 1hr from LV and has casinos and a small strip of their own. Very beautiful there and a whole lot cheaper. I lived there for a while so i could be close to Vegas still and the casino rooms in laughlin with a balcony viewing the Colorado river right below you window was cool.

housing is dirt cheap in vegas right now as well as the cost of living, im not sure why you think its expensive. and there are tons of service jobs out there, if you can get by waiting tables or bartending for 30k till you get a "real" job, then $ shouldnt be an issue, that is unless you blow it all on gambling and hookers.

I'm 6'4 217 big deal not size its how tough you are and believe this i'm one tough man but not here to compare these things over a computer get real. And misfits my job offer is 52,500$ a year plus commission. I have been in wireless for 8 years and with commission should hit 60-65. I have a free cell for the rest of my life courtesy of my verizon employee plan from my last job. I found an apartment with a buddy of mine we will split 540$ a piece per month. I have decent credit I will finance a car rather quickly. 15$ an hour lmao u think I would leave home for that man just cause you have no talents and a resume not half what mine is please be respectful to someone like me. Dude, fuck renting right now you can buy a 3 bedroom repo for 50k all day long. At 4 percent interest fixed. With taxes and insurance should be under 400 a month still. No money down FHA loan. Vegas is full of repos take advantage. Once you get your first paystub you will be good to go. I am thinking of moving there myself. IT cant be worse than Ohio and the nightlife must be way better!!! Rent the extra room out to your buddy.

There's is some kind of fever out there in LV that is unreal. Your high percentage of picks once you're in Vegas will drop like a cancer patient losing weight. Somehow the fact that you get your cash pronto will somehow fuck with you. While your placing your bets reading the board some waittress is going to come up to you put her snatch in your face and offer you a drink. Don't drink while making your picks lesson number ONE. Number two if you don't smoke Aw man feel bad for you, some of those sportsbook casinos are like Saloons full of smoke. Smoke fucks with me cause I'm not a smoker nor a tweeker. GL my friend keep us posted with the move. I feel some of the other posts while in LV you can tell the tourists from the regulars. Tourists are the happy ones while the natives are disgruntled and stay far away from the strip unless preying on tourist

Good luck with that. Your loan offer will get beat out every time by the cash investors that are buying up all the homes here. Not to mention most of the repos in that price range are in the shittiest parts of town and will need money to fix them up.
