Sports can be brutal sometimes broke again

Bro you are not alone, had the worst two weeks due to chasing a bad beat with penn st covering yesterday. Down 30k just bad beats come after you. Money management is tough.  Either quit or learn to Money manage.

There is nothing to "learn" about money management.

It is execution of money management where most fall down.

Honestly if u have money management and you take all the chalk square obvious favorites you come out ahead. Too much people try to be sharp and overthink it.  There is a reason a team is favored or laying a spread - they are the Better Team. Does it always in win? No so that is where money management comes into play.

Just understand that most on Covers gets destroyed on the weekly. All the losing you see on these posts, take that and triple it because these guys are chasing loses and they just don't post them. 

However you are in luck. I have my WNBA Finals Game of the Year coming up later on this week so you can get it in early. Play as much as you possibly can, I don't lose these games man. 

Until then please don't follow the masses.

Baseball is the worst in my mind, due to the m.l. you either have to be very selective and stay completely off those -200 games or bet dogs, and close to evens, not chase--can be hard staying on an even keel when you suffer the bad beats--I no longer bet very big, no real need when Im just playing for the action...so when i lsoe I dont need to try and make big "bail out" desperation plays.

You're a lemon. Like a bad car. There is something... there is something inherently defective in you, and you, and you, and me, and all of us. We're all lemons. We look like everyone else, but what makes us different is our defect. See, most gamblers, when they go to gamble, they go to win. When we go to gamble, we go to lose. Subconsciously. Me, I never feel better than when they're raking the chips away; not bringing them in. And everyone here knows what I'm talking about. Hell, even when we win it's just a matter of time before we give it all back. But when we lose, that's another story. When we lose, and I'm talking about the kind of loss that makes your asshole pucker to the size of a decimal point - you know what I mean - You've just recreated the worst possible nightmare this side of malignant cancer, for the twentieth goddamn time; and you're standing there and you suddenly realise, Hey, I'm still... here. I'm still breathing. I'm still alive. Us lemons, we fuck shit up all the time on purpose. Because we constantly need to remind ourselves we're alive. Gambling's not your problem. It's this fucked up need to feel something. To convince yourself you exist. That's the problem.

One thing you can do as far as baseball betting goes.......bet some futures on team total wins or whatever.  You're in action every night with a rooting interest without that daily outlay of cash.  A good team like the Braves or Dodgers you're in action all year long.

 You are not alone.  Sports gambling is the devil.  I've lost more betting sports, then playing cards, roulette, dice.  Something about sports betting that just attracts us to the lights like moths to a flame.  

I agree with another poster as we all are chasing a feeling.  Wanting to feel something.  Win, lose, to feel alive. To feel like a winner etc.  

I have my bad weeks and I swear off gambling and that iam finally done this time, yet I always come back for more punishment and pain.  Hello darkness my old friend.  

I've flushed 5k on a half time bet and FG bets too many times to remember.  I hope whatever losses you have incurred won't break you or wreck you're family.   Definitely take a break.  Iam talking 2 months at minimum.  Spend it on you're kids, your wife yourself.  And when u decide to come back. Lower you're bets to $100-200.  Stay small live to fight another day. Love yourself brother.

You guys are all amazing I want to @ everyone in the post. It hurts so bad bc I want it so bad. I’ve wanted this since I was a kid no joke. I know I’m gonna get there and like anything investing in college to become whatever you guys are right there is gonna be a net loss period for X amount of years to learn how to get a Y net positive approach equaling a Z total domination and destruction of the bookie
