the offense will not look the same as it did last week against the Lions IMO. they will not be embarrassed the way chicago was. I realize GB only put up 3 pts last week, but flynn will look different after an entire week of snaps. as much as i hate to say it, I think they got caught in a let down spot. even before rodgers got knocked out right before halftime, green bay was being shut out. they looked awful on offense all around, and flynn got noticebly more confident as the game went on.
that being said, i'll be on green bay for a small play, good luck to everyone tomorrow.
Let down spot? It was their game of the year. It probably decided their division and they knew it. Let down makes no sense.

i agree with the premise of your message, but did you watch the game. it seemed like they "knew" they were going to win that game, and would "really" show the league how good they are this week against new england. its hard to think of a game against the lions as your game of the year when you have the pats on deck and the bears in week 17, and you've owned the lions for so long. they looked like they put no effort into preparing for that game. thats all i'm saying

i know ted thompson really likes him, and as much as packer fans who want to suck favre's dick hate thompson, his track record for young talent speaks for itself. and yes, a week of taking 1st team reps, as opposed to coming into the game off the bench after barely taking any reps during the week, is a huge difference.

You never know what will happen. Brady could have his neck broken on the first play. The returner could drop the kickoff. Flynn could throw a bomb that connects. However, I think the Pats cover the spread by halftime. I like Pats first half and game. Yeah, it's a lot of points, but when its 30 to 10, you'll even have a cushion against a back door cover. I got in early at 13.5. Pats are rollin'.

"If I was a GM and I needed a quarterback that's who I would go
get," an executive in personnel for an NFL club said in unsolicited
remarks in April. "I think he's the best backup in the league.
"Colt McCoy isn't as good as Flynn. In fact, if you threw him in, I'm
not so sure that in two or three years he wouldn't be every bit as good
as Tony Romo. Maybe better. They said he didn't have a big arm but all
he did was win a national championship. He's smart and he's tough, and
when he came out he was a high 4.6 (40-yard dash guy) guy."
That scout tried to sell Flynn to the decision-makers in his
organization before the 2008 draft but "couldn't get to first base. I
absolutely loved the kid."
A personnel man for another NFL club
brought up Flynn's name in conversation about a year before that. His
message was almost exactly the same: If he ever became a general
manager he'd be trading for Flynn. "I
wanted to draft him, but we didn't do anything about it," the scout
said. "Look. That guy is the next Mark Brunell. They will get a high
pick for him some day."

bad bad spot for pats. everyone saying that they are taking pats bc rodgers is out and pats are HOT HOT HOT.
what if the pats team that lost to CLEVELAND by 20 shows up? what if the GB defense shows up that blanked the jets in the meadowlands? no one should be laying DD to the packers, idc what the circumstances are.
this team is not about spots or situations, and could give a shit less if a "square" or a "sharp" is betting them...they are playing like the first half of their undefeated season and simply will not let up...
good luck betting your "spot".........

How is 30-10 a cushion against a backdoor cover at a 13.5 spread? 30-17 makes you a loser.

dont get me wrong im by no means in love with playing gb against pats in ne but i would think twice before unloading like this is gonna be easy money for pats backers, this game is way more important to gb than it is ne and if you think their defense is gonna get rolled over like the shell shocked jets or a box chi team that plays in a cold weather town but is afraid of practicing in the cold i think you got another thing coming......

He couldn't throw a touchdown pass against the Lions.
Is it really necessary to consult or involve "Paid Talent Evaluators" regards to Flynn?
He coudln't throw a touchdown pass against one of the worst teams of the decade. Making a judgment isn't as trivial as you are making out to be.
And calling us clowns? What would that make Mike McCarthy after last week's display !?

det d-line was dominating gb and you bring in a cold kid off the bench, not to mention they wernt doing shit before Rodgers went out, think it fair to say that one was on the team....sure bash them for their performance last week but i seem to remember pats laying a egg in cle this year...and yes anyone saying how bad Flynn "sucks" based off what he did last week is a clown.........

"det d-line was" ......STOP ! They're coming last in their division. I sincerely do not want to hear about Detroit's defense as whole or their D-Line.
"anyone saying how bad Flynn "sucks" based off what he did last week is a clown........."
Well that was one of the lesser teams in the NFL they lost to......what positives do you honestly believe people to take out of that game?

I don't think the All-Pro, Aaron Rogers looked too good against that same Lions defense either before he went down. So, by your logic, he must a clown too?
