ha ha 6/18 30 yards

mvp's get pulled when you are up by 44 pts
not when you are down..........

also if you are a mvp, why is your team down by 44 pts in the first place?

It isn't fair to judge this loss, the Patriots are hotter now then when they were playing the Colts therefore it isn't fair to count this in the rankings, or something like that

lol 30 yards passing and down 44 points to a team that isn't even in the playoffs.

Watch the game guys..

Cards receivers were dropping every single throw, their OL is a total joke and the defense cannot tackle.

The gameplan was hilarious...RUN RUN RUN..yeah that worked.

This shows how bad the Cards team is in general, Warner played pretty damn well given the TEAM..Fitz dropped passes, Hightower was Mr.Butterhands, no Boldin..

The real answer is whatever QB the Cards are defending.

Andy, you watch the game? How many drops, what stupid play calling, terrible defense.

then how do u compare games where both players played the same team?

the fact of the matter is
colts have a better record in a way better division

they now have the same amount of touchdowns

manning takes less sacks, has less fumbles and hasn't lost a fumble this year

warner has 10 fumbles with 6 of them lost

mvps don't turn the ball over

If you look through all my posts I have said Manning over Warner.  It was Wallstreet who made the point about that.

I guess Manning and that soft schedule might back into the award.

I dont vote so it isnt up to me, but how you can give someone the award with the teams they played, the stats he put up is beyond me

Give it to Brees..even though they dont make the playoffs, his stats are too good to ignore, or if the Chargers sneak in, give it to Rivers.

Really dont think its even worth arguing anymore. Unless you can tell me Rivers on an 8-8 team would beat out Peyton.

Looking at their schedule they're are 7 games against teams that have a shot at the playoffs next week or will be in the playoffs.

Including wins @pitt, vs. NE, @Minn, @SD, vs Balt.

Keep saying it's soft, if it makes you feel any better

WALLSTREET, maybe if Brees, Rivers were in that JOKE of  a division, they'd be in the playoffs, yes? Maybe if Brees and Rivers had arguably the 2 best receivers in the league on their team, they'd have EVEN more yards? These arent things you can ignore when you are deciding an mvp award...there are lots of variables not just he has the most yards, td's lets give him the award.
 
Its A  FACT , having  the best wr core in the NFL will not help a qb's chances at an MVP award, it will hurt them, and deservingly so.

I guess another way to judge Warner and Manning is in common games.

They had 2, Manning was 2-0..Warner 0-2

Warner: 35/63 300 yards 1/1 td/into
Manning: 47/71 565 yards 3/2 td/into

I understand for the most part how the COLTS dont get any 'credit' for their 8game win streak because the last 6 were against shitty teams,but you have to give them credit for the PITT AND NE wins to start the streak.

Yea its really insanely ridiculous how Wallstreet can compare schedules when the Cardinals play in a not bad, but HORRIBLE division. The guy obv just has a bias against Peyton for whatever reason so its tough to take it seriously.

That's a pretty stupid point, only because it hasn't hurt any MVP canidate in NFL history.  You want to start docking QB's b/c of the talent around them then you have to good back 30 years.

Manning's, Brady, Montana, Favre, etc. 

Who gives a shit who the QB is throwing to if he is making the correct reads and is throwing good accurate passes.

Manning had 49 td's
Brady had 50 td's
Favre- 38, 39 and 35 td's in his 3 years
Montana- had a record setting 112 qb rating the year he won his

Warner doesn't touch any of those numbers this year, if he does, you say who cares that he has the best receiving core, but there are guys out there who did more with less then him and its obvious.

If Warner had touchdowns in the high 30's or a qb rating that breaks a record, the WR core wouldn't matter, but since he doesn't I would say it does matter.

I am not even on Warner for MVP anymore, b/c his team has fallen into dog shit, and Manning has taken control of the race.
It's pretty even this year so nobody is standing out like previous seasons.
