FYI...from a local Bay Area take. there's infighting within the team. I'm decent friends with one of the players and two of the trainers. Long story short, one of the trainers was my best man and college buddy. The other trainer I know through him. The player I know fairly well and hangs with us from time to time. We drink, we play golf, yadda, yadda etc., etc. You get the point. The point I'm making is there's infighting within the locker room. Existed since late last season and all through training camp. If the Niners lose this weekend watch this shi!t start to surface in the coming weeks. They're an unstable bunch.

For the record, (and as some of you know already)  I don't play anymore.  I haven't for almost 6 years.  So I really don't care which way this game goes from a spread situation.   However what I wanted to do was share this info for my brothers because from time to time I do like to visit and this place (as well as the other place) has always been good to me.

Niners might implode if they don't start winning soon. If they can just stay around .500 until their guys on D come back, they will be in good shape to make a run. But they gotta win this week.

Everyone says the Niners are deep and they have a great roster, but what I'm seeing is that they are in for a long tough year, and this could be Harbaugh's last with SF.

     Good to see you here

I had a feeling all wasn't right in SC. Besides the obvious issues already known to the public, you can tell something is askew.

Is it possible deep down that some SF players don't mind losing if that gets Harbaugh run out of town? The management already tried to trade him once!

    Basically it's systematic.

-Player v HC, HC vs GM, Player v player(s)  Assistants v players.

They're really just trying to just do their job and win.  But overall they say morale there sucks. (e.g. practices suck, no one hangs out, locker room cliques, coaches not on the same page).

It's really volatile there.  Everyone's just trying to keep a lid on it all and say the right things to the press. But behind the doors there's something brewing that only winning can cure.

I've just assumed no Aldon Smith and Navarro Bowman = much different team.   No team can lose two impact players like that and be the same.

Niners first half I think is a great bet. They've been red hot in the first half of the first three games this year. Philly on the other hand is a second half team. I may go large on this

This really doesn't mean anything to me. We've heard about infighting in philly also, chip practices us too hard, yada yada yada. Well maybe he does, because that defense sucks and is getting lit up by mediocre teams.

THe niners are no bargain this week. They aren't the same team as last few years, but i think it's also a disgusting spot to go against them. Im with xyz, under seems like the only play here.

They're just not as good as last year defensively, and kapernick has yet to step up and pick up the slack. Too me it really is that simple.

Now if you wanna talk about lack of discipline, and how that can be attributed to piss poor coaching and guys finally tuning harbaugh out, im all ears. But theres zero chance that the guys that play for the niners are trying to lose just to get harbaugh run.

Ill agree with that at least for jim. No reason whatsoever they shouldn't have beat the giants a few years ago in the playoffs, also no reason whatsoever they shouldn't have blown the bears out two weeks ago in a game they dominated.

The niners identity is in question right now. Seems to me they know they have to let kapernick become the man to beat seattle, but them opening games up that they should win is costing them games in the process. That coupled with the simple fact that they aren';t as dominant on defense has them in "crisis" mode.

I think they win this weekend, but im not willing to lay any more than 3 points so to me this is a no play game.

Both of the Harbaugh's if they get a lead they have no idea what to do with it , and usually play not to lose the game , and in the end they usually  lose more than other coaches

if their team is having a  tough go of it no in game or half time adjustments to change things.

Both of these guys win games with the talent on the field or player performances , no help from these two jokers  they only lose games

One of the Harbaughs maybe over-rated.  As far as the other, it's hard to say a head coach is over-rated when he goes to 5 straight playoffs and wins a super bowl.  Must have done something right...

Like i said before they both win games with the talent on the field and player performances , in John's case you can add a weak division and conference

Change him to the Cleveland coach the last decade he wins nothing  he's a horrible in game coach i watched it first hand for years .

They are both very good coaches. The Niners covered a lot of games last year. They are both a bit conservative but look at their QB's, both gunslingers that need to be kept on a tight leash. On top of that, Kap is turning out to be a low iq QB who has reached his potential (sad indeed). I put him in the same category as a Donavan McNabb, though McNabb might have been a little better (reading defenses, etc).

There may be some discourse in the locker room, but the right kind of discourse can make a team mean and dominant - they're a miserable bunch of athletes and losing sucks to them. As someone mentioned above, it's time for Harbaugh to earn his check and make adjustments. Is it really a simple formula?: Niners need to be more physical than Philly and make them feel unwanted. And move the ball effectively to keep Philly's snaps to a minimum. Not sure the Niners have that in them??

Interesting trend:The San Francisco 49ers are 16-2 ATS in games off a SU favorite loss.

both made it to the same superbowl....really a dumb uninformed comment there.

anyway i saw a few receivers that seemed to purposely miss catches for the 49ers. Something is definitely wrong there. I would bet against them the remainder of the season.

This pretty much sums my thinking up. Kapernick single handedly cost them the game vs. the bears, no reason in world that hobbled team should have beat the niners on their turf. Like i said i think they tried to open up the playbook for kapernick and he hasnt delivered, that coupled with some really boneheaded penalties have cost them 2 games now. This is still a very talented niner team, lets not lose sight of that. But they have to remember what they are and win via physicality. I expect a heavy dose of runs against phillys bad defense. Still not willing to take them at this overinflated line though.
