It is the law of averages with Harbaugh , if your a coach of the Baltimore Ravens for years in a bad division and conference

you win the division most of the time and are in the playoffs every year you have to be in a super bowl eventually

if you can find the final pass that colin kaepernick passed vs bears you will see that the receiver purposely dropped it.

3Peet, if what you are saying is true, (and I have heard it from other sources as well), then I fully expect Harbaugh to be more than interested in the Michigan job.

It is natural for him to consider this college job if there is that much in-fighting within this bunch.

Harbaugh has done a lot for sf. But by the looks of it. He doesn't seem to be a likable coach. Personally I have never liked the guy myself. Schartze got into it with him one time. Deep down they are both dirty.

It's not like all the other sports you don't have to win mutiple series sometimes you don't even have to play a road game to get to a superbowl . its only 2 or 3 games maybe 6 teams in the league have a shot every year and sometimes it's always the same 6 for years eventually they all win one it is really no big deal .

Its not like winning a Stanley cup

Personally, I like both the Harbaughs because they instill discipline in their football teams. They play the game the right way, and harken back to the Ditkas and Parcells of years gone by. The league would be worse off w/o them.. And certainly the '49ers would be .

Change him to the Cleveland coach the last decade he wins nothing he's a horrible in game coach i watched it first hand for years .

really? bill walsh revolutionized the game. teams are still winning using his formulas. wish the current niners would dink and dunk: it would open up other things and make the game easier. kap refuses to throw underneath. cost them the nfc championship game.

See....even after a win, leaks are already surfacing.

Dion Sanders and Trent Dilfer brought it up last night. Dilfer called it a "toxic" environment. Sander's went on record saying players have tuned out the coach.

We'll see how this plays out during the season.

Harbaugh had to deal with another round of questioning from the local press this morning and you could tell it was getting under his skin.

harbaugh has no allegiance with sf 49ers he has some past history with the bears though..only thing he coached the Stanford cardinal which is a local team but does this mean he has any good history with them nope. if the niners had someone like a tom rathman who played for them before and has coaching experience they might have a different all around approach...but I don't like the QB either so they got to start with the QB first IMHO...someone that can be a prototype of a Montana and or Steve Young...Glory years gone by.

I think SF coaching is average to above average. Maybe should have run more against Chicago but clearly had a good game plan against Philly. To me it's pretty clear Kapernick is a problem.

When you are running the ball at will this opens up everything in the playbook. If NE, Denver, GB, or Indy were 6th in run offense how dominate do you think their offenses would be right now? To me this indicates Kapernick is losing games for them or at least handicapping them. SF is very talented and their D has played very well despite injuries/suspension. It aint the D turning the ball over.

On the flip side of this, when teams like Den and GB are still winning despite a horrible run game it speaks very loudly to the talent at the QB position.
