Very nice call on the Ravens to everyone that played it.  Holding, can't believe you reversed fields on that.  When it was 14-0, I knew Pats laying the points was DOA, although they still gave it a ride.  I washed out on that one though, since I had the over too.

The other game went kind of how I thought it might, and I did win on it, although I don't think I ever formally posted any plays.  Carolina played their hearts out, but it wasn't enough, and in the end the better team won (and covered) and the total went over.


Going to give a few thoughts about tomorrow shortly.

I will start in the AFC.  I have said all along this will be the Manning vs. Brady FINALE of them all.  I see no reason to think otherwise.  Yes, I know they will face off again next regular season, but this will likely be their last playoff duel.  Mark my words, next year the Colts will have the home advantage, and Peyton will bow out in the playoffs in INDY in his final game, as he passes the torch to the new elite QB in Luck.   But, that is a long way away.  For now, Broncos have enough to win, and cover.  Colts backdoored them last time (in week 1) but will not again.  I thought the Colts were hiding a few tricks the past few weeks, knowing they were a cinch to win the South, and I think that they did well.  But this is not the underachieving Bengals here.  At home, At Altitude, DENVER COVERS. 

That is my take.  Had Ravens pegged wrong, so who knows. 

Now, the NFC.  Much tougher for me to call, and for many reasons.  I am a Dallas fan, always have been.  I honestly do not care if they win or lose in the big picture.  When I was younger, I cared to much.  But I got to see them win plenty. Also got to see them LOSE plenty.  More important things in life for me than to worry about if my team wins or loses.  However, my step-son is a HUGE Packer fan, and I see so much in him that was the me of old.  Should be an interesting game in my house to say the least.  I hope he enjoys watching it from his room! ;) 

As for the game.  Well, been a long time since the home teams swept this round (at least 10 years by my count), Ravens came close, but couldn't pull it off.  Here is your dog winner!!  But, that might just be my heart talking, so no play for me.  As a father, I have some interesting choices to make on how I handle this, win, or lose. 

The refs do control the game. Period. No way around that.  It's been headed that way for some time.  So if the NFL wanted to manipulate a result, they have the means.  Do I think they do? No.  And we are all entitled to believe what we want.  Regardless of what we all think, we have to use our collective knowledge to figure out who comes out on top. 

Here is my Epiphany.  Broncos win it all this year.  They lost @ Pats earlier this year, reverse that. They lost vs. Seattle last year in the Super Bowl, reverse that. 

Either way, Colts are done on Sunday.

Ok guys, as I said earlier, one team will come out of this round invincible....It already happened-----SEATTLE!....Vegas got burned on this one taking the line up to 13.5.....I'm coming out early and stating that Seattle goes down next week, or at least doesn't cover, but stick with going down----The setup is there-------BIG TIME!.....No repeat SB!....I'll be back here WIN OR LOSE!....THAT will be my only big wager in the playoffs!....Impossible you say?....Too many weapons?....Then you don't know Vegas!!!!,,,,I wish all of you a good day today.....Was leaning big on Dallas, but with the line movement on them, I'm doubting a bit now, but would not surprise me if they won....That's it!!!!!----Against Seattle-----BIG!....

Ice bowl two its been so much talk about that game i cant believe this is the first time these teams have met up in the divisional round since it first happened. Dallas is looking foreal the fair weather fans all across the nation are back in full garb, enthused at the idea that this could be the year Tony Romo finally quiets the naysayers and get his just do it would be nice and whimsical but on paper I don't see it happening, for Dallas to win this game they have to function as a whole and play flawless ball while they have tightened up tremendously in thier weak spots I feel Stephen Smith put it best they are an accident waiting to happen and at some point the slip up is bound to occur somewhere. Dallas defensive is not to be trusted their secondary is poor the D line is mediocre the linebackers arent much to speak about either that's the problem GB is going to be very focused on protecting ARog in the pocket, if they can that's all it will take if he gets a 5 count in the pocket he's going to carve Dallas up and once the lead is established the boys will lose thier poise the play book goes out the window Romo starts trying to be a hero and T Romo is no hero at least not as of now but if he pulls this off broken back tand all then I'll be conviced, I enjoyed backing Dallas when they were Ebola but now they gots to show me
