I have a friend who was screaming N.Y. Giants all year.  Now he comes at me yesterday with all this JETS-JETS-JETS talk! Territorial rooting, right?

I am a Jets fan and I couldn't help but root for the Giants 2 years ago on their Super Bowl run.  Lots of Giants fan rooting for the Cinderella story Jets, maybe they can beat Colts now FOR REAL (I think they could, how tight and nervous will they be, esp. their first year coach?) and then maybe beat Favre in the Super Bowl - this would be poetic justice for him using the Jets last season and ruining their season to get to Vikings this season

I am not a Ryan fan either on a personal level, but he is doing a tremendous job with these boys. He deserves the credit and then some.

As for Big Ben, in year 2, sometime you should consider picking up the DVD and seeing what he did against Denver to get into the Super Bowl, then get back to me on that one.

I can't believe this post had more than a page of replies. But I guess what else is there to do before the games this weekend.

Aaaannd noo I didn't put my money on the choke artists of the decade (san diego), nor did I put my money on the rookie qb on the road. I'm simply stating my feelings about the team and coach.

As for the people telling me to grow up...I didn't know I was supposed to love a coach and team that was in my favorite team's division...sorry?

And I'm loving the patriot comments from the steelers fan whose team didn't even make the playoffs (defending SB champs miss the playoffs...sweeet) and the jets fans who finally get to know what it's like to win more than one playoff game a year. You're welcome for Bill Parcells otherwise God only knows how much worse it may have gotten for that franchise.

At this point all im hoping for is good, competitive football...even if it HAS to be the Jets.

And just for the record...I would take Peyton over Brady any day.

somethings wrong with you if you cant enjoy this jets team. whats not to love? The head coach says whats on his mind  defense is ridiculous  Shonn Greene is an absolute stud  offensive line is great  sanchez is managing the game and not making mistakes like he cold be  Braylon Edwards (never mind about him)

I was at the game in my USC Sanchez jersey as a neutral observer, and I'll now be rooting for an upset over Peyton.

Buddy was a Bad Ass and his Son Rex is a chip off the old block. I was always a fan of Buddy and his politically incorrect statements.

Naturally, Rex has his Dad's gift of gab. I love it.

    I say BOUNTY BOWL II

Whoever lays out Peyton gets a free fully loaded Escalade with a full tank of gasoline to boot. Ha,ha,ha.

    Rex Ryan...... SICK 'EM BOYZ.

I like Rex Ryan better than the spineless Caldwell.

I hope the Jets knock the Colts out this week.

Count me in.  Giants season ticket holder for a decade and I want the Jets to win it all.  The Jets get crapped on here way too much.  if they could just make it to the Super Bowl they would get some more respect.

Whomever mentioned that Jets were a run first, defense oriented team and "how can you not lie that?"  Exactly. It's how the Giants have played for as long as I can recall until this year.   There is nothing better than watching a defense just get after it.  Love that.

Remember when Pitts. made the superbowl as a wild card team they had Big Ben and when Arizona made it last year as a wild card team they had Warner.   Sanchez is not either of the 2 above trying to make it to the big dance.     Experience will come in to play in this game and i would not bet against Manning for he knows how to win in a close game.     Do not count on the Jets to cover the spread for the trend this year has been the dog winning outright or the favorite stumping. I see more stumping in this game then the Jets winning outright.  I think everyone has forgotten how good Indy and the Saints defense was last week.

I think the sweetest moment on my Vegas trip watching the Super Bowl was when Tom Terrific and the Chowda heads lost a perfect season in SBXLII. OMG! It was the best f-king moment! To see the look on those assholes faces when the game was over!F-king priceless! I bet they had a suicide watch in Beantown that night and the rest of the year!HAHAHAHAHAHA There hasn't been a greater SB moment than that let me tell you.

I sure hope the Jets don't get that far...your thoughts?
