Hate is a strong word. But I strongly dislike them. This Jets team is very reminiscent of Big Ben's second season....minus the whole thing with the jets backing into the playoffs.
Pittsburgh played great defense as usual and ran the ball effectively without leaning on Big Ben to win the game. They pulled off 3 road wins in the playoffs and then won the superbowl (one of the worst i've ever seen).
I sure hope the Jets don't get that far...your thoughts?

Can't you see the irony of the Jets now going to Indy and knocking off the Colts FOR REAL to get to the Super Bowl? Listen, Rex will learn to tone it down, he's doing it to get NY to talk about him and get the PSL's and tickets sold for the new stadium.

Rex knows his shit , and he knows how to play the NY media, you need to learn this, dont hate a team, and dont love a team.....this spells defeat for the capper....he has defence in his blood and in his genitecs.
But he can only do so much with his tallent he has, Jets are over acceaving now, they will be brought down to earth this weekend.

All his "antics" are completely calculated. First, he goes down the path of, "we should be the favorites to win it all" and "I'd prefer to coach this team out of all of them." Tell me that doesn't make you feel confident if you're a player.
Now he's going with the old, "no one wants us here, but we're here" slant. Adding in the old, "us against the world" angle.
It's not something you can do time after time after time or it gets old, but he's got a formula he's using and he's milking it for all it's worth. And it's working.
I know what he's doing so I don't take it personally. Chilldress did a bit of that with MN last week....he told his guys to shut their mouths, do their work, and settle the game on the field. Kept it in-house and let Dallas just continue to think they were superior. And it worked. All these coaches play these games...some do it more then others and some are more public then others.

why would you hate them? they are the no. 1 D, and they have earned that status. the bengals were an ok team (heck, they lost to the raiders?!) and the chargers just pretty much not prepared for the jets (at least it looked that way), and still can't see how 2 easy fgs could be missed at home, and wind wasn't even a factor. when the ravens got to the superbowl, they didn't rely much on their QB (just hoping he wouldn't lose the game and just protect the ball), which is pretty much the same formula the jets have now. it will be an interesting game next week vs. the colts, and i think #18 and all the fans would love to see a huge blowout as a payback to what happened a few weeks ago.
