Any different than you try to hide Tebow's incompetence by just mentioning the defense ranking? Most of his comebacks were due to his team's defense. He practically did nothing for the first 3 quarters. The defense kept them in those games, why would people think he even had the chances to bring them back?

You were talking about box score stats.

Again: if QBs were judged on box score stats alone Tony Romo would be one of the greatest QBs of all time.

Who wouldn't be proud of an 8-8 record?Even better losing the last three games of the season,how could a team not be proud of that? I have to admit this team is on a roll.

I pointed out that a 149+ passer rating is not simply decent.

Also where did I say Tebow was better than decent or even good?

The only time I bring up that the defense ranks in the bottom 10 of the NFL is when people try to claim how good they are.

You can’t dispute what I said so you attempt to shift the focus to whether an 8-8 record is something to be proud of.

What exactly are you arguing? Is it that  Tebow doesn't suck?(as or QB or as a person) I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but he has regressed the past several weeks. He has sucked as a QB.They backed into the playoffs plain and simple. He has not improved. He looks horrible time and time again. He just  turned in the worst performance of a QB all year. 6-20 for 60 yards and an interception. What is there to defend. The Broncos defense isn't very good but in several wins they played very well. They played well today. And i dare to say that if i look up some stats that it might be one of the most putrid games by a starting QB in the last 10 years. He has also had some good special teams play bail him out this year. Time will only tell but right now he doesn't look very good. Not at all.

As long as the line isn’t something ridiculous I’ll be on the Steelers.  

That all things considered (2nd year player, new coach, missed the most important offseason of a player's career, etc.) Tim Tebow doesn’t suck.

He’s also a good leader and makes others around him better.

The Steelers have the #1 defense in the NFL and the Denver defense hasn’t forced a turnover in 3 weeks.  If the Steelers can score 21 points they should probably be enough.

There's no need to get defensive. You can’t argue that Bronco fans are happy to win their first division title in over half a decade so you’re blathering about being proud of an 8-8 record.
