BTW I'm pretty sure Drew Brees isn't worried about Tebow breaking his record.

Great guy, great leader, but his mechanics and lack of accuracy are what stands out to me. Can he improve? More than likely. But he throws the way he throws and that will be hard to change. He will eventually get better players around him. When he does, he could probably be a servicable starting QB ala Trent Dilfer. People can be critical of others without being a "hater". I really don't think he is that good but he may be someday. Just tired of everyone acting like he is the next great hall of fame QB. And on top of everything there are many other good Christian NFL football players who you never hear about. Why is it that Tebow is forced down our throats?

What else do you call people who are nowhere to be found when Tebow is 7-2 as a starter, but then come out of the woodwork when he loses 2 straight games.

I'm just generalizing here, I know that everyone who doesn't like him isn't hating, but I'll go as high as 90% are.

"Haters" are the people judging Tebow on the same standards as an NFL vet, not as a 'rookie' QB. They add nothing to the thread except for emoticons. These in particular ()

I guess I missed the thread where people were calling out Grossman, Vince Young, Rivers, Palmer, Hassleback and Bradford for sucking.

    Nope, just Tim Tebow.

The difference is Tebow had little to do with the victories, and for the most part, they were over mediocre teams at best.  The love he was getting was ridiculous.

Oh my god, a QB with less than 15 career starts is now only 7-3 as a starter. Call in the dogs, his career is over, he sucks, he blows, he wont improve. He's done, finished, its over, just cut him Broncos, he's done in the NFL.

Interesting stat: Tim Tebow is 7-0 this year when his allows less than 40 points

Yeah Sparky, they were setting odds for Covers Loser of the Year and I nominated PTB at 13-1. You were mentioned as a prime contender for the  1st that I know of "Covers Lifetime Achievement Award" but your chances of winning don't look very promising

There is some pretty funny shit going down in the Sin Bin

I just saw it. I think I could realistically win both award.

Interesting stat: Tim Tebow is 7-0 this year when his allows less than 40 points

Have you seen his QB rating?????? Show me 1 QB who has had a successful lasting career with that PATHETIC of a rating.

That's the point I'm trying to make. When the Broncos win...everyone acts as if he made the interception, or that he kicked the game winning field goal, or that he pushed Marion Barber out of bounds, etc.

He has had game winning drives that have been impressive...but, for the most part, that was usually his sole good drive of the game. You can't be successful if you have ONE good drive a football game.

I wouldn't go that far. Orton isn't good either and that Chiefs offense is sad. An offense like they have, going into Denver, will have no hope against Denver's defense.

I'll be rooting for Orton. Talk about a story. Gets his job taken from him by Golden Boy. Gets released. Ends the Packers' undefeated streak. Then knocks the team that released him out of the playoffs (of course...if Oakland wins). It would be an awesome story. And we won't have to hear about Tebow every time you go to ESPN for the next 2 weeks.

Throw that stat out the window, stop the excuses. You can't blame the defense for the Buffalo game. When a qb throws 4 interceptions and 2 are brought back for tds that is not the Denver defenses fault.

What you continually fail to comprehend is that Tebow is not like any other quarterback who has ever played in the league.  QB rating doesn't mean shit.  This guy has his own fucking QB rating!  It is measured in wins and losses.  When are you morons going to understand that?

WE'RE FUCKING SHOCKED!!  You will be rooting for Orton??  No way!!!!   Moronic statement of the day, "you can't be successful if you have one good drive a football game".  Really? What has this guy been if not successful??? What idiot made that statement?

They have NO HOPE against the denver’s defense? REALLY? The last four weeks this monster, unbelievable defense, the greatest defense of all time, gave up 123 points! 81 points the last two games! The chiefs offense is sad? They have thomas jones, dexter mccluster, jackie battle, le'ron mcclain, dwayne bowe, steve breaston, leonard pope and now they have a game manager quarterback in kyle orton. Do you even watch or study football?

Merril Hoge said Tim Tebow just can't play. Hoge said the idea that Tim Tebow should be a starter is absurd. It’s embarrassing to think the Broncos could win with Tebow! Chris carter said why should he be a starter and what has he done? He is not a nfl quarterback. He has only won 15 awards, 2 SEC titles and is a 2 time national champion. Kordell Stewart uses race and said black quarterbacks wouldn’t get the same opportunities and tebow as a starter is a slap in the face to all real quarterbacks. Stephen A Smith said tim tebow is garbage and looks like garbage and is a disgrace and is absolutely pathetic garbage. Rob Parker said tebow can’t play and should be even given a shot at playing. Jon Ritchie said tebow throws like kick offs and is so bad he should take 8 months off and learn to throw right handed.

That’s why this became such a huge story. If these guys would have just said he needs improvement and needs more reps and we will see what he can do. Then there wouldn’t be this controversy but no they had to open their mouths and attack him. Then tebow goes 7-3 as a starter with the most pathetic offense in the nfl and all hell breaks loose.

Actually, the more I think about it, there has never been so much hype surrounding such a putrid passer.  So you are right, I got nothing.
