You can, because like I said in my previous post it is expected.

However, when this thread was created after he beat the Jets, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that all the haters would have laughed off the fact that Tebow could take his team to the playoffs and the division title.

I think what we are learning more and more each week is that Denver's defense is not as good (as most of you said) they were. I was saying from the beginning that Tebows style of play was the reason the defense was playing better. When you have a young team without a lot of weapons, you have to play "small ball" and control the clock, which in turn affects the stats of the quarterback.

Obviously Tebow needs to improve (what QB with less than 16 starts doesn't?) However it can not be overlooked IF Tebow leads a 1-4 team to a division title. The sad thing is it will be be completly overlooked by all the people rooting for this guy to fail.

Bottom line is that only a handful of teams have a franchise quarterback, and if you want to give up on a young  guy who has shown he has what it takes to WIN in the NFL, then that is your opinion

When ANY QB plays bad in losing efforts they will begin to be scrutinized, unless they are an elite QB

QB's in the NFL get too much credit when they WIN, and too much FLACK when they lose.

Take it for what its worth, Tim Tebow has not lost a game in the NFL when his team allows less than 40 points

Well what Tebow lover's fail to realize is that he sucked in each one of those games.  Got lucky when teams went into prevent defense towards the end of games.  And he caught them off guard with those high school runs.

I watched this clown do the same play and it kept working.  Man that shit is done.  Tebow would fake run to the left, then run back to the right.ha ha ha ha.

This is about as good as Tebow could ever get, his days are numbered as a starting QB in the NFL.  He is not a NFL caliber Quarterback, plain and simple.  And actually Tebow gettin lucky and winning those games Denver did win, will only hurt Denver in the long run.  Think about it, this style of read option garbage is cool at first as it catches people off guard, because they expect a NFL QB to be able to actually throw the ball.  If Denver commits to this style of offense next year with this dude, this will set this franchise back about 5 or 10 years.

The is why John Elway knows he can't back this dude, he's kind of forced to right now, because of the situation he's in.  Teams are already catching up with Tebow and his running around hoping and praying somebody gets open. LOL...  Look at the shit against New England in the 4th Quarter, where he runs backwards about 20 yards, and gets sacked.  Man that shit is like grade school shit.  He's though he was Randle Cunningham for a minute huh?  Too bad Cunningham had a hell of an arm, and Tebow has no arm.

Offensive players like Free, Kosier, Costa, Gurode, Davis, Colombo, Holland, Smith and the entire defense are to blame for the cowboys recent failures, including rookie coach jason garrett. Botched field goal snaps, 4 missed field goals, fumbling the ball 8 times, and giving up over 130+ points on defense in must win games of the past. The defense has given away games by giving up 63 points in the 4th quarter this year, that is the reason the cowboys have lost, not romo. I think the cowboys defense is worse than the broncos defense. The reality is that jason garrett is to blame for not running the ball in key game situations during the lions game and not throwing the ball in key game situations during the patriots game. The morons on here and in the media, don’t study the game and use romo as a media tool. This season, romo has put up monster numbers, giving him the 2nd best quarterback rating in NFL history and yet he is taking the blame for his choking offensive line, choking overrated pathetic defense, choking kicker and rookie coach. The media only shows mistakes and never shows or talks about the stuff that happens in between games. Sunday night people will say the same things you do about romo but the facts will remain that his choking offensive line, choking overrated pathetic defense, choking kicker and rookie coach are the reasons why Dallas will lose Sunday night not romo. Romo hasn’t failed to perform, the people around him have.

Tebow did have an awful game but tebow's teammates need to stop handing teams games with 12 easy sacks, fumbling the ball 10 times, dropping 27 passes and giving up 126 points on defense. No one mentions that the broncos are the worst offense in the nfl, he is playing with the buccaneers offense of the 70s. I mean tebow’s teammates, on the offensive side of the ball are so pathetic, I can’t remember a team so bad to use as an example within the last 40 years! Until tebow has a respectable team and respectable coaching personnel around him, it will be hard for me to believe the man can’t play the quarterback position. People like sparky ignore all of these things every week.

Punch I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying with my credential comparison between Tebow and Romo which DOES pertain precisely to this thread. Let's take this from an NFL teamate of either Tebow and ROMO perspective.

Tebows teamates; This cat has won NCAA championships, SEC titles.....etc. His reputation among his teamates is that he is a "winner" Fellow teamates try much harder "believing" that somehow, someway??? that Tebow willl lead them to Promised LandTrust me several Bronco players heading into Sundays showdown with KC "KNOW" TT is going to come up big and that they WIN that game and the AFC WEST. It is within his abilities to go out and do that considering his past history

On other hand, the Great Tony person, having a fantastic year despite throwing 2 critical 4th qtr  INT's AND a 4th qtr fumble at the 2 in opening Jets game which he personally delivered a loss, the LIONS fiasco where he threw 3 2nd half ints(2 pick 6's at that. one to his groomsman no less,  LB.......) and fails to call a critical TO in Arizona game setting up a potential DIVISION WINNING FG. That was ROMOS fault not Garrett. It was Garret fault for calling TO that ICED his own kickerBut back on topic. HIs teamates don't really believe in him or some us hailing from the Metroplex don't either. Look at his history. ONE playoff WIN. Pitiful, embarassing considering all the talent that has surrounded him. The PLAYERS  DO NOT believe he can lead them to anywhere. Comes out this week already with his excuses that he won't be 100%. He has very little "CRED" within in his own "teamates" eyes where as TT has ALREADY earned his teamates respect and they know they at least have a chance at winning a BIG game.

Finally, I hope Cowgirls and ROMO show up Sunday night, but looking at Romo's leadership history, I seriously doubt it. I can easily see those Giant RB's stampeding over hopefully, Rob Ryans last day as "D" coordinator. I am just calling it as I see and hear it. Boys need better coaches too.

Sparky, I think your G-MEN drill Cows this weeek.Like I stated earlier in this thread, if Romo was 1/2 QB Tebow "is" this game would be of NO consequence

Crusher13 Romo is the most disrespected quarterback I have ever seen. I don’t know what else the man has to do for you cowboy haters or fans. It’s as if he is responsible for everyone else’s jobs on the field. I showed you all the reasons why they lost and it goes through one ear and out the other. Romo plays center and quarterback and he miss handled the snap in the jets game to himself? Does romo play offensive line? Did you know that the numbers say romo is hurried or sacked or hit 40 percent of the time he drops back to pass. Romo was talking to himself in his helmet and romo was the one telling himself to spike the ball in his helmet, not Garrett. Romo is responsible for throwing the ball 47 times vs the lions with a 27- 3 lead in the 3rd quarter, not the head coach for calling passes instead of runs. So, romo is responsible for his offensive lines incapability of protecting him or creating holes for the running game. Romo missed 4 game winning field goals. Romo gave up 8 fumbles. Romo gave up 130+ points on defense in must win games. Romo gave up 63 points in the 4th quarter. So, romo was responsible for giving up a 12 point lead with 5 minutes left in the 4th? He missed the ball in the light vs the giants and was responsible for blocking the field goal? One playoff win, with all the talent surrounding him? WHAT TALENT? I think the problem is that people think romo has talent surrounding him. Yeah, he has great wide receivers but his line is pathetic and chokes under pass rushes. His defense chokes away leads and can’t pass rush or stop the run or the pass, his kicker chokes in pressure situations, and all of his coaches besides tuna have no sense of game management. I wish romo would pull a kobe moment and just sit out like kobe did in the playoffs vs the suns. So, everyone could see how bad his team is without him. I had no idea romo was playing offensive line, defensive line, corner back, safety, and kicker, and was the head coach. Man he must be tired after the game.

    earthWake-

Why is it that if people don't think Tebow is a good QB then they are "haters"? I like the kid but don't think he is a good QB. Great guy, great leader, but his mechanics and lack of accuracy are what stands out to me. Can he improve? More than likely. But he throws the way he throws and that will be hard to change. He will eventually get better players around him. When he does, he could probably be a servicable starting QB ala Trent Dilfer. People can be critical of others without being a "hater". I really don't think he is that good but he may be someday. Just tired of everyone acting like he is the next great hall of fame QB. And on top of everything there are many other good Christian NFL football players who you never hear about. Why is it that Tebow is forced down our throats?

Great guy, great leader, but his mechanics and lack of accuracy are what stands out to me. Can he improve? More than likely. But he throws the way he throws and that will be hard to change. He will eventually get better players around him. When he does, he could probably be a servicable starting QB ala Trent Dilfer. People can be critical of others without being a "hater". I really don't think he is that good but he may be someday. Just tired of everyone acting like he is the next great hall of fame QB. And on top of everything there are many other good Christian NFL football players who you never hear about. Why is it that Tebow is forced down our throats?

That's what I was wondering. So if you don't think Tebow is a good QB then you hate him I was just saying he's not a good QB, and all everybody kept saying was "He wins", well he's getting closer to .500, so now what????? He's a good QB??????
