At least Tebow reached his season avg QB rating. Unfortunately he was picked off not once, not twice, not three times, wait for it....................................................FOUR times. And even more unfortunate, he picked up ANOTHER Loss. He's a solid running back though. See you guys next week.

Uh Oh...the one stat "The Cult" could hold onto was his TD:INT Ratio. That sure took a hit today.

I'd love to fight that arguement. 4 FG's, a punt return and 2 interception returns to go along with a CJ Spiller run set up by an interception if I'm not mistaken.

Looks like they did the best they could considering that 3 of those FGs came on 4th and goals.

I know, but as time goes on they will try to throw today's game in with the Det, Minn, N.E. games. Even though most to the points were because of the Denver offense.

In boxing the phrase “throw in the towel” is talking about a single match.  Not the next several matches.

Have any luck finding where I claimed Tebow was THE reason the defense is playing better?

As I've said...Tebow sucks. Either he sucks in a winning effort...or he sucks in a losing effort.

That's 2 losses in a row. Tebow looking worse and worse. He's coming back down to earth.

Orton goes back to Denver for a chance to crush his former team and the guy he lost his job to.

Fact is he got way too much credit for the wins- now if he gets bashed for the losses then you are labeled as a Tebow "hater"-

He is an average QB at best- probably worse, but his leadership and work ethic make up for the fact he doesn't throw the ball worth a shit-

All these games were he plays badly (even if he plays great in the 4th quarter) will wear down a team emotionally. Defense will start arguing with offense, etc, etc. If he improves he can be an average QB. If not, these loses will start adding up.

But you said "throwing in the towel on the season". Not on the game (match).

And you're right. You never said that Tebow was THE WHOLE reason that the defense was playing better...but you gave him more credit than you did the team getting healthy.

You mocked someone and say "So the reason the defense started played better with Tebow at QB was because they had a ton of injuries and those injuries magically went away after 5 games?"

You're not giving credit to the defense. Of course the injuries didn't "magically" go away. But to throw out the fact that the team's defense got better once everyone got healthy is far more absurd than saying Tebow didn't have anything to do with the defense turning it around.

Tebow is B-A-D.  There's no other way to see it.  Sorry, he;s not going to reviolutionize the QB position to the point where the QB doesn't have to be able to throw the ball.  Having an NFL arm is certainly not the only thing that matters, but it is kind of a prerequisite for lasting success at the position.  Tebow fails the baseline standard to be an NFL QB.  The sooner he converts to a more appropriate position for his skill set the better chance he has to still be in the league in 3 years.  Maybe he doesn't care though.

That’s the point.  You can’t take a saying like “throwing in the towel” that gets used for numerous things and then only apply it strictly in it’s original meaning when it gets used outside of it.

I see now that you realized you were wrong about what I said you are trying to shift focus away from your false claim that I said Tebow was THE reason the defense was playing better and towards something about me not giving the defense enough credit.

Well at least you can now admit that I never said the thing you claimed I said.

I don't know if you can call it revolutionizing but Cam Newton is the guy doing things people should be excited about. He's like Michael Vick but so much stronger. Oh yea...and he's got a pretty good arm too.

Dude your an idiot.  Do you know what it means to have a good defense?  That's how you win games fool.  Sorry ass Tim Tebow got lucky with Denver playing such good defense.  If Denver had Cam Newton they'd be set for the future with a great QB.  Tebow sucks, and John Elway knows it.  He's no dummy.

Cam Newton is Million Times better than Tim Tebow....  Carolina just has a shitty defense.

You should do what I do and just ignore him. He has an avatar that's easy to spot so you can just skip over his posts. He has nothing informative to say anyway. He just calls people stupid.
