I like Ahmad Bradshaw, but your terrible coach only let him run 23 times all year. They are blind to see real talent over there with terrible coaching decisions.
Now Ryan Grant in 8 games ran for 1157yds also counting Seattle game. More yards than most other running backs in 16 games. So for you to say that Bradshaw is better remains to be seen in the stat column since Tom Coughlin won't play him.
Like I said He makes terrible coaching decisions, and the players don't respect him. He also has that puzzled look all the time. He acts like a school teacher from 1900 who can’t relate to his students[players].
listen, you and macman are making arguments that mean nothing and have no bearing on this game. you guys should call each other up. its not answering any questions about this game or about who will cover.
to compound that, read your last paragraph. who are you the associated press from 2006? the players dont respect coughlin?
this isnt last years giants. this isnt coughlins teams from years past. this is the 2008-2008 nygiants and you saying what you did really lets us all know how uninformed you are about the giants and their current situation.
maybe you should do more reading around here and less talk of how you know exactly how teams feel and what they do or do not believe. YOU DONT KNOW A FUCKING THING ABOUT THE GIANTS OR WHO THEY DO OR DO NOT RESPECT. none of us do. please do not speak like you do.
where does covers get these people

dude, these statement are borderline moronic. Let me start with your most inaccurate statement in that the players don't respect Coughlin. This could not be further from the truth. Strahan has been on record as saying how much respect he has gained for his coach and numerous other players have said the same. Not that you have a clue but Coughlin changed his demeanor and coaching style this year because he had no choice w/ his previous one was not working. He now has all the respect in the world from his players and will be offered a minimum 4 year extension after the season regardless of what happens sunday. Now to Bradshaw who's bouce it outside the tackles change of pace style is as effective a gameplan as there is contrasting Jacob's running style. If you watched any of the Giants last 8-9 games you would see that they primarily beat the crap out defenses the 1st half w/ jacobs and then sprinkle in Bradshaw late 3rd & 4th qtr heavy when defenses become tired, beat up and unable to wrap thus enabling Bradshaw to break off big runs. It would not work any other way. It's been effective thus far and I believe Gilbride's got a handle on how his RB's are most effective and all are onboard w/ what's going on w/ their offense right now. They do what is necessary to win games. They don't turn it over like they used to, they have become very efficient and they have returned to Giants football which is keeping the QB at around 18-27 attempts which if you looked is their formula for success. If i saw the box score w/ out the actual scoring and you told me Eli was 12-21 165 yds, no ints 1 td and they rushed for a total of 130-140 yards combined I would bet a lot of money the Giants are well w/ in a TD in this game and most likely having a chance to win. The only reason Grant is not a Giant is because the Giants had 4 quality RBs at the time and ward/bradshaw return kicks thus their value is much higher. Giants put a premium on special teams which is more important than carrying a 4th rb that may do well down the road. Let's see a 16 game season for Grant who let's remember was undrafted. Going into Sunday I'll take jacobs and bradshaw hands down over Grant by himself. If you are expecting a big game from him this weekend, think again

Sploogeface,
Way to respond to a moronic post with one of your own. Do your homework next time, because the packers 3rd rounder this year, Brandon Jackson, has provided a late spark for us, both was his running and receiving out of the backfield. My man rushed for 113 yards (5.7 yards per carry) against a good Detroit run defense when we had NOTHING to play for the last week of the season. He also added some yardage to grant's total last week, and had a 13-yd TD reception as well on a really sweet play. He's just as good as a change of pace back to Grant as Bradshaw is to Jacobs. So, to answer your question, YES, I would gladly take Ryan Grant (the guy YOUR crappy Giants team accidentally gave up) and Jackson over Jacobs/Bradshaw. More importantly, try to run against the GB defense--you flat out will not succeed. And watching Dallas run ALL over the Giants ASSES last weekend makes me flat out giddy to watch Green Bay's offensive line destroy NYG's D-Line. I'm really glad Dallas stopped running Barber in the 2nd half (b/c I was rooting for the Giants, of course), because he was absolutely shredding the Giants D. You guys had a great season, and thanks for beating Dallas last week so the Pack can have the opportunity of pummelling the G-Men in front of the GB faithful in a couple days. Your boys are tired from all the travel, tough & close games, and not interested in standing out in that COLD weather. I hear it gets a little COLDER for the team that's losing. That will be the Giants. Get your heated pants & your popcorn ready. Tom Coughlin's going to have that pursed-lipped look on his face in T-minus 96 hours.
Packers win...30-20. That's what I've been feeling since I woke up the day after the NYG/DAL game. GL.

Green Bay is 11-3-1 ATS in its last 15 games played on grass -Ryan Grant is great at making one cut to the weak side and pointing his shoulders straight downhill to take would-be tacklers for a ride. Green Bay’s nasty defense is made for a grass surface too.
Green Bay is 5-0 ATS in its last five home games - Years ago you won’t even consider betting against the Pack at Lambeau once November hit. You’ll hear that rule of thumb a lot more now that they have a running game again.

You are OBVIOUSLY DRUNK. DId you not happen to watch the Seahawks/Packers game on Saturday?
42 + 20 = 62 points. That was in a blizzard. It probably won't even be snowing on Sunday, just cold. The pack will put up 30 no problem, as far as I'm concerned, and I would hope that the Gmen could at least put up some kind of a fight. 50 points is more than possible, sunshine.

I am liking this spot for the Giants more and more. Many Packer fans already dreaming about the rematch and revenge over the Patriots... 80% on the Pack, etc etc
Packer fans: you do still have to win this week!
Before you can exact revenge on the Pats, the Giants have the revenge angle working for them this week. As a Packer player, it must be hard to concentrate on a team that you already beat 35-13... especially when the Pats game is soooo close.
Note Favre's two WORST home games this year came against NFC East Teams... PHILLY (58 rtg) and WASH (45 rtg!). And do Packer fans expect Grant to come close to the "career game" he had last week; not likely.
This will be a tough defensive game. GB may win but I'll take the 7 pts with the upstart Giants to cover against the overconfident Packers who are coming off a glorious blowout and looking ahead to their revenge game against the Patriots.

Giant fans, Giant fans. Slow down, you guys are getting a little full of yourselves and rather cocky. You have a opportunity to do what 31 other teams set out to to this season and thats make it to the big game. You still have to get past Green Bay, stay in your shoes. Remember, nobody remembers who comes in second. Your're setting yourselves up for an incredible backlash if you go into Lambeau and get corn-holed. From a die-hard Cowboy fan.

not worried in the least about Grant and please w/ t jackson in mop up role versus detroit?? How good is he when a undrafted player takes over for him? Bottom line clueless is this..giants stick w/ the run, packers do not. Please give grant 25-30 carries and giants will win. I am only worried about Packers spreading out the giants 3-4 wide where we are vulnerable. I hope the Gints pass rush is up to what they have been doing all year long because if they are I could be in the d back field and it won't matter as Favre will be chuckin it up just like the Dallas game before he got his bitch ass carted off and rogers came in and did a respectable job when Favre could not.. **** the cold Giants play in NE not florida so let it the weather go, won't be a factor unless Favre pulls what he did in chicago again running around like a box w/ his head cut off making stupid plays chuckin it up cuz he could not wait to get to the heater on the sidelines. The fact that Gints will run the ball more effectively then GB is not an issue. The only way Gints are not in this game is if Eli hands it to them w/ mistakes and the only way they get blown out is that coupled w/ gints getting spread out 4 wide, giants get no pressure and favre can sit back there and have a field day otherwise this game is close and gints have more than 50-50 shot to win

This will be a tough defensive game. GB may win but I'll take the 7 pts with the upstart Giants to cover against the overconfident Packers who are coming off a glorious blowout and looking ahead to their revenge game against the Patriots.
NYG +7
what revenge? if i'm not mistaken the pack beat the pats to win their super bowl in the 90's...not to mention that the pack is 3-1 against the nfc east

Packer fans: you do still have to win this week!

G MEN roll all over lambeau. that is the only team that is going to do the lambeau leap.
I love this packer team. I truly believe they were the best team in the NFC. the only problem i have with this team is #4. He is too much of a gun slinger and if he expects to win this game on his own it will be along day. I dont see how u guys expect brett favre to pick this team apart. First of all to do that u must have time in the pocket. Which he will not have. has to be short passes and slants. there secondary is banged up but will match up well with there receivers. what the giants wll do is run the ball and control the tempo of the game.
This will make #4 impatient and force issues down field. we all seen it before.
best of luck guys

GL.
Hey Travis Jerkoff. U make it sound like Marion Barber averaged 10 yards a carry. He only averaged 4.8 yards a carry and that was because the Giants were much more concerned with not giving up big passing plays. U take away his one long run and he has 26 carries for 90 yards. And i would take Marion Barber anyday over Ryan Grant. If u think bum ass Ryan Grant is running for 100 yards this week your smoking crack. The Giants averaged 6 yards a carry against the packers the first time they played and u can expect much more of the same this time around. Giants will double the Packers in rushing yards on sunday.
