Favre is the man! However he is always good for 2 int's. If Gmen can get those 2 picks and with a few sacks they will keep this close enough for them to win in the end!!

you won't find the touts after they get it handed to em. They will surface from beneath their rocks a few days before SB churping about how the Pats will roll.....give me the pts all day long. I lost a whole 200 bucs on the game big shit...I made that and much more on tennis and basketball...Yes I am a Patriot fan and have been for over 10 years.I wanted reprise of one they lost in 1997...didnt happen with Farve showing his age and an inexperienced young team not ready to step up...congrats on all Giant backers...now get ready to get slapped off the field in the Superbowl...

The best part is if the packers squeeked by at the end these same guys would be here saying, see told you they had no chance. The NY Giants OBLITERATED the Green Bay Packers for 60 minutes. The same LUCK they've had all season is what kept them alive

SO you want to hear from me eh? Well, let me say a few things. Aside from handicapping games and making wagers I am a huge fan. I am a Packer fan and have been since 1979. I had good reason to think GB would stomp NY. Every system I trust pointed to a clear Packer victory. Besides that my instinct told me that this was a destiny type season for GB and losing this game was just not possible.
I stand by my statements actually. I think if they played 9 more times, GB would win at least 7 of those and maybe all of them. From my perspective it was a fluke. GB didnt resemble the team they were all season. The play calling was odd. The "go to" type plays that they have been running all year were abandoned. Favre got into one of his odd modes that hasnt really popped up all season. He made some terrible throws that we just haven't seen in a long time. Manning on the other hand seemed to be able to do no wrong. Sorry but....thats not the normal Eli Manning.
The game was just a very odd experience as a Packer fan. They did not represent themselves well at all. They had a year in which they played exceptionally well and then for whatever reason, they looked nothing like the team that had won 18 of their last 21.
If they said GB and NY were going to have a rematch again this week and GB was giving up the 8 again, I would take it in a heartbeat. The bottem line is GB played as bad of a game as they possibly could and NY played as well as they possibly could. Add that up and its a 3 point squeeker for NY.
Taking that a step further, starting at the begining of the OT period I still would have taken GB's chances to win. Line that 47 yarder up 10 more times under those conditions and he makes it maybe 2 more times.
This is not sour grapes at all. NY won the game fair and square. They just beat a team who wasnt at all themselves while playing at the peak of their potential.
