Arizona is probably the cleanest side for me
Soroka has been legit, the pitch-mix changes look real, and he gets a Reds lineup that can strike out. Lowder still has length and command questions, and if Cincinnati has to get into that bullpen early, Arizona has a real full-game edge

Milwaukee is still on the radar too. Obviously we’re not getting yesterday’s Misiorowski cheat code again, but the Brewers have momentum, a fully rested bullpen, and a lineup that has been very good against right-handed pitching

Baltimore is another one where I like the bats more than the full side. I don’t love laying a number with Gibson, but the Orioles lineup is has been hitting as of late and Vasquez is the kind of pitcher they can get to. If Baltimore’s team total is reasonable ???

I wouldn’t lock any of those in yet. I’m just starting to dig in and narrow it down now.
Chores are done, cocktails are in play, and the rest of the day is dedicated to finding one we can smash.

I’m passing on Arizona. I’m not laying -150, and I don’t want to reduce the juice by playing first five because the Reds bullpen is the main part I wanted to attack. I also don’t trust the run line enough, so I’m staying off it.

Waiting on the Phillies/Brewers lineups, but this is the one I’m watching closely. Milwaukee first five makes a lot of sense if the main bats are in. Nola the results have not been there this year, especially against left-handed bats, and Milwaukee has been swinging it extremely well

Drohan isn’t Misiorowski, but he’s been solid, the underlying numbers back him up. The full-game moneyline got too expensive, so the first five lets me attack the Nola matchup without laying a crazy full-game price.

If Milwaukee’s lineup comes out clean, I think first five -0.5 is the best angel. Depending on the full lineup and price, I may also take plus-money shot on the run line, but the first five is the main look

Brewers have given up a total of 6 runs in 6 games at home playing the same team Miz just pitched against.1 run or less in 5 of those 6 games. Not saying its gonna last forever but.....
