Dallas @ Houston

I hear ya, Professional1. Houston may or may not be a great team. I am a fan, and as a gambler that can sometimes sway me. Living in Texas, I have the unfortunate pleasure of listening to Cowboy fans boast year in and year out. I will give Jerry Jones credit, he is a marketing guru. He has thoroughly convinced America that Cowboys are a great team, ranked 5-7 in most pre-season power rankings. Why, what have the Cowboys done to deserve it? Including their 0-2 record this year, they are officially 81-81 for the past decade, with one playoff win in that time. Sounds pretty avg, right? People are blind to the fact that this team is a mediocre one at best. I just don't get it. I realize I probably come off as extremely biased when it comes to the Texans. I tribute that to hearing non-stop Cowboy chatter week in and week out. Now, for those who dont believe the Texans will come out  hard on Sunday, take my passion and multiply it by 60,000 :)

The Dallas/Houston game is fishy to me.  Imo the line should be favoring Houston much more, but I think Vegas set it at 3 to make ppl feel good about taking Houston.  I, like you, think the Boys show up to this game.  Betting public doesn't think so, but we saw on MNF that the public doesn't always know best!  I love your comparison to the NO/DAL game last season.  I think this is the same situation.  I'm staying away from this one, but BOL to you.  I think you're making the right pick.  I like the Bears also, but would like to get some more points if I can

i have spoken to 13 people who are fans of the game and gmbling buddies. 11 out of 13 said they like or are taking the COWBOYS because they do not see them 0-3? that is a lame excuse for people betting there money on them. just like everybody here on this thread. i can HONESTLY see this as being a sucker bet but i thought that last week.  good luck more info will be innputed in this thread

To me this may be the season for Wade, others will say not but if he loses this and goes oh fer 3 with the bye week coming up and super bowl expectations, if I am Jones I can his ass. I really believe that this Cowboy team has Super Bowl look to it, if they can get their shit together and that if is bigger than the state of Texas.

I do think their O has some excuses as the line has really not been healthy. They should be better this week and they need to be as Mario is a STUD.  I do think that the Texans are BTL but the loss of their tackle and Ware having another week to get better is Offensive disaster for them.

So at the end of the day my point would be this. Does Wade still have the attention and respect of this locker? If he does, I think the Boys get it done. If not, this may be his last game as the head coach. I am serious about that. I think they roll, I really do but like many I bet them large last week and was simply appalled at their effort. I will bet them again and really have some self hate if they lose. AS I AM THE BIGGEST COWBOY HATER ON THE PLANET.

I will say this I respect Adam and his work with the NFL as he has great sources. That said, endorsements from owners do not carry much weight with me. Jones will move Wade if he thinks it will improve the squad. He desperately wants his team in the Bowl and he should.
