This game would be a great win for the Texans.  But living in Houston I can't tell you how many times I've heard "you have to win games in your conference".  The Texans went 1-7 against their conference last year.  We all know that's not going to get you in the playoffs.  That's the Texans goal this year to make it to the playoffs which means that their concentration will be on winning those conference games not games like the one on Sunday.  Sure it would be a great win, but I'm sure the coaching staff would rather win conference games.

I'll be at the game rooting for my Texans but I feel like the hungrier team to get this win will be the cowboys.  I'm laying off because I can't bet against my team.  GL

I agree with this.

With the Super Bowl being in Dallas this year, their were extremely high expectations for this season.  Especially after getting their first playoff win in a long while, last season.  Now they are sitting at 0-2 after blowing their first home game as sizable favorites. I think they all are down on themselves.  In fact, I know Wade Phillips is expecting to not have a job very soon.

I also feel that the Houston Texans finally have things going there way, especially after coming out with a miraculous win in Washington.

You have to love when the betting public comes out and says that Dallas will have more sense of urgency simply because they're 0-2 and the Texans being at 2-0 can afford to lose.  Please.

i think houstons offense has become way to balance. i don't know a db who can handle andre johnsons size, speed and incredible skill level. yes houstons defense is young, but strong.they are weak in secondary. but the front 7 is legit leading with the pass rush of mario williams. zach diles one of the best cover linebackers in hte league should be able to shut down witten. also with domeco ryans cleaning up all the run plays. i feel the only way they will be successful is if they run with jones more instead of barber andchoice, or they throw to dez while i beileve he will create a HUGE mismatch agaisnt hou number 2 or number 3 cb

PrimeTimeBoys, with all due respect lets simply look at the numbers in this thread.  Based on all the posts made with someone putting down their winner for the game it totals 22-12 in favor of Dallas. Thats about 65% just in this thread.  Considering I haven't made a play on this game because this was the first thread I've opened up about this game, I still have to look at other perceptions.

However, I do feel that being that its the Dallas Cowboys, and being in what looks to be a must win situation in many folks eyes.. because they can't go 0-3, right?.. that the betting public is going to be on the Cowboys or at best 50-50.  Especially considering those same people are going to love plus money with the Cowboys ML.

you are right that many people are on Dallas ML Sportsinsights shows 70% on Dal ML but 67% on Houston minus the points so those cancel each other out. I don't really care who the public is on.

The Cowboys have a shot here, if anyone charts spread range, then they know what I'm talking about. Another indicator was the opening line, which looks well short of what it should have been if Dallas was on a landslide.

I was hoping to see 4, but sharp bettors moved the number from 3 to 2.5. I am playing a wait and see on this one, because the number should move up by Sunday morning. I plan on playing a money line and spread bet.

Houston has never been 3-0 in their history, but Dallas has looked pathetic at times, and the biggest concern is the stupid penalties.

the saints agaisnt dallas had a lot of injured defensive players. also i think houston is to balanced and dallas is to distracted with media, i think tey need to take advantage of dez bryant and felix jones if they want to win.

Thanks for clearing that up.  Why don't the sportsbooks release that info?  What kind of an impact would knowing how much money is in each pool have on the squares, the sharps, syndicates, etc?

Dallas is the play. Toutbuster.com is on Dallas. They backed houston moneyline against indianapolis in the opening week and won. they also won with kansascity against sand diego, san fran against new orleans. 7-2 in nfl and 13-5 in ncaaf so for this year. they use the method of fading heavy tout plays. they are a money bank during football and basketball season.
