It's an excellent game to bet on as a Knicks fan. San Antonio has to give some of this back at some point before the end of the year.

If you want to call 7 seconds away from the way 95 of 100 NBA games end and a 70% winning percentage "cold", play this game as you will.

The Warriors blew that game though Knicks only scored 33 points in the 2nd half and 89 points the entire game. Warriors couldn't make a shot to save their lives and I don't think it was because of the Knicks defense. Knicks have had a really soft schedule. In there last 10 games 7 of there opponents have been arguably the 7 worst teams in the NBA. The 3 other games have been against the struggling Pacers who lost to the Cavs, the Suns which the Knicks got blown out by 24 points and the Warriors who had one of their worst shooting performances of the season. So during that 10 game stretch they faced 7 lottery teams, A team who is imploding as we speak, another team who had a terrible shooting night and lastly a Suns team that blew them out.

So the Knicks lack of offense is focused on and their D is attributed to GS missing shots? I know what side you are on.

I myself have faded the Knicks in spots precisely because of that schedule.

It is true. It is weak. But the GS win was a good one and it was business as usual in a b2b vs. the jazz. That is what I wanted to see for their confidence and offensive flow.

This game largely transcends all of that when it's the nets in the garden.

If they lose this, they have lost 4 of 7. That is no playoff team by any stretch. They know the importance of this game and the rockets game wore down the Nets a bit as Houston did go small for a lot of it (even though they weren't truly tested) while the Knicks had the day off to focus on the nets.

It's a bad spot for the nets, period.

Not sure what you mean by the 'same line'. If you think it lacks a diverse opinion, you haven't read.

And I promised the pistons would win. Did they? Nothing could stop them from winning that game the way I capped it in my eyes.

2 is not a number. If it lands on 1 you eat it (like the pacers heat) so the line is not an issue like the last game. That is a GOOD thing.

So they didn't lose to the suns which is what you bolded? Interesting take. Was it the magic they lost too that night?

Nets are not better than the warriors by a good margin and for certain if the game is in GS! And the line is not an issue. 2 with the hook is the best you could ask for. 

Vegas isn't roping Knicks bettors in with the Knicks laying 2 so you should be comforted by such a line.

You lose a game like that, you'd be hard pressed to have a working keyboard and monitor in front of you to even type goodbye.

I couldn't disagree more the Nets are way better than the Warriors. After starting off 10-21 the Nets have only lost 12 games since. The Nets you saw earlier in the season are gone. Kidd has figured out his rotation and going small has really improved their chemistry. This Nets team has a legit shot of making it out of the East with the recent Pacers struggles and the fact that they beat Miami 3 times already this season. 

Bro I'm telling you..... I told you about that spot with the Cavs and Nets a couple of days ago.... and some herb in your other thread trying to tell me some shiit about how it was unlucky and this and that.... ok there..... 

Knicks defensively are a solid match up for Golden State actually. Golden State IS NOT THAT IMPRESSIVE. You live by the chuck you die by the chuck..... Knicks understand that and a defensive minded coach like woodson understands that..... they limited their offensive touches and kept the game low scoring.... especially coming off a Phoenix Suns team who plays fast this game was an easy defensive adjustment to work on for the Knicks. 

Nets is a whole different animal. Everything at this point of the season is a match up, they are gearing up to go far not squeek in the playoffs. 

Aside from that.... They have too much length for the knicks and incredible ball movement. Knicks are modeled AFTER Miami. NETS ARE BUILT to BEAT miami. Simple. Length at every position and they play  SU defense on anyone....no need for crazy double team defensive schemes.... which lets them rotate around on defense without no problems.... especially a 3 point shooting team like the knicks. This was evident yesterday as they turned houston into a bunch of chucks and houston is a solid rebounding team too.... knicks aren't.  

Beverly and Dwight being OUT MADE ZERO DIFFERENCE. Nets play team offense one hack job medoicre defensive PG is not gonna change the rockets defensive scheme..... Dwight would be running around in circles as again... their (NETS) half court set and ball movement at this point is 2nd to none in the league (maybe spurs and miami on a good night).... they literally move that thing around like the spurs right now. Plus Dwight would get into foul trouble. 

I also mentioned J Kidd.... this is a huge capping point..... as he was a HUGE part of the knicks offense and literally another coach on teh floor..... now he's on the other side. 

Nets have not TRAVELED ANYWHERE for the last 6-7 days. They were on cruise control yesterday in an EASY WIN OVER THE ROCKETS. Not at any point were they in a dangerous spot.... came ut int eh 2nd half banged them out made a couple of stops in the 4th quarter and that was a wrap..... It takes them 15-20 minutes to get from Brooklyn to MSG..... TEHRE IS NO HOMECOURT here.... as half the garden will be filled with nets fans to begin with..... secondly the garden is a familiar place to Garnett, PP34, Derron (who dropped 57 here a year ago... JJ.... the garden has a "home style" old school feel to it.... Everyone loves playing at the garden.... which partially explains why the knicks play better defense on the road and have a pretty solid road record but have a shiitty home record..... Nets have been flying under the radar... vegas knows.... opened this at -2 or whatever public as usual already on the Knicks.... wouldnt be surprised to see this line move last minute to a PK or -1 Nets...... 

I'm on the nets tongitt if you haven't noticed.... Respect your play just offering valid opposing views. 

You would take the nets over the warriors in a 7 game series if the series was in GS for 4 of the 7 (which it would be given their records)

@slippery - there is hate here and a hell of a lot more on the line for he Knicks and they are at home and there is virtually no line. 

Advantage Knicks. And also the brainfarts are long gone. This won't be a f*** up game for the Knicks.

I respect your view but you are paying too much attention to match-ups and position based O and D. The nets win that one every time.

Like BeginnnerBoy said, this game has much less to do with the nets and everything to do with the Knicks.

And there will absolutely a home court for the Knicks tonight. They have waited for this spot all season and now they are on the cusp of catching the Hawks.

It couldn't get any better the fans, the team and who stands in the way? 

The nets. Could have have asked for the dominos to be set up any better?
