Why would vegas open it at 4? Knowing that Knicks will be the public play here? Think you are on the wrong side here.
Not sure.
Vegas makes mistakes. They can't post solid NBA lines 2/3rd's of the year every night. This line is off by 2 points making 4, with end of game free throws or a last second possession win for either team, very attractive.
Just like the Blazers +2 vs. Nets last night was an obvious Vegas misread (and that is not saying every line that doesn't make perfect sense isn't a solid one).

Have to be honest with you... when I looked at the NBA games today, I thought the only one really worth playing is the Pistons once the line drops from obvious public money on the Knicks. I'll wait and consider but Detroit will definitely have more boards and thus it's likely they'll have more shot attempts overall.
That matters to me because it means if I back the Knicks, I'm probably going to require a more efficient performance from the team in order to cover/win. Good luck either way though.
They will give a better performance tonight.
Don't just bet on the team that will outrebound the other.
The Knicks last two losses were due more to unfavorable scheduling (B2B vs Rockets, and a home and horn vs a hawks team that already lost the first).
This game, with two nights off, is a good spot especially given the urgency for the coach and team collectively.

I am a bit surprised by the seeming large public support of the Knicks right now especially with meta world peace out on top of chandler...makes this a tricky one
while i understand the look ahead angle people play, when you are a team in the type of shape (injured and playing bad) that the knicks are in you aren't looking ahead thinking we have a chance to take down the pacers next, you are thinking we need to win tonight because the pacers will be tough to win with our limited roster right now...
either way no play for me right now GL either way
You're thinking about the Knicks not looking ahead is correct.

71% on the Knicks according to sportsinsights.com.
So I'm supposed to be wetting my pant leg over that or something?
That's interesting because the line is still 4 -110 as I type.
Go check the sportsinsights.com percentage backing the Blazers+2 last night vs. the Nets (with an injured Deron, Kirslenko, Lopez) and tell me the result of that game.
I'll wait here.

Papa when you bet 12 games a night none of your plays hold much value whether it be opinion or money. You act like a degenerate every night, take a breath.

I'm a high volume gambler that knows the league well. Spreading and diversifying risk to maximize returns.

Looks like Fat Felton is out. Good to see that considering he is 1 of their poorest player this season. Woodson will now be forced to play a better player in Prigoni more or give a chance to Udrih.

Going with my first instinct on this game and taking Pistons -4, I am a little surprised you aren't on ML, seems unlikely that pistons win and not cover IMO.
We should stop eating bananas.
