Wow!! What a horrible horrible Friday night. Dropping over 35 units of precious profit on Friday for my worst single losing day this season. Only team that hit for me was the Bucks! Looking to stack it back on Saturday January 17th. It's Mak's birthday so lady luck better be on my side today or Mak is gonna cry on his birthday. Best of luck everyone. Peace out - - - MAK
PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS - 2.0 - - - Cats already short-handed as it is as D.J Augustin is our with a hernia. Along with that Cats pulled off whats seems to be a minor trade but will effect them today. No Matt Carrol who plays legitimate minutes without D.J and no Ryan Hollins as they shipped em to Dallas for Diop (Which I think is another wack trade made by Jordan) Trail-Blazers depth is never ending, now Jared Bayless is providing off the bench with a sensational last game. Who isn't good on this team? Outlaw, Batum, Prizbilla, Blake, Rodriguez...I didn't even name any of their top players, yet those guys I just named could start for a majority of the 29 NBA teams. Blake is out for Portland but that just gives talented PG's like Sergio and Jared to show their skill. Depth Depth Depth, neverending depth for the blazers and that young run and gun trail-blazer team will take care of business on Saturday. 17.5 UNITS - - -
BOSTON CELTICS - 7.0 - - - The Celts are back to their winning ways and will continue to dominate as they play the Nets tomorrow. The Nets are not used to playing afternoon games however Boston are vets at afternoon games and have been succesfull (well at least against the Raps) Off their last afternoon win last week, they will be right come game time while NJ will be out of sorts. Look for an early lead and another blowout win for the Celts at the pathetic NJ IZod Arena. 8.8 UNITS - - -
MILWAUKEE BUCKS - 2.5 - - - Bucks on a back to back where they are 7-5 ATS. They don't have that much travel from Cali to los Angeles and are coming off a good win in Sac Town. They let the Kings come back which should have Skiles on their neck for this Clipps game to start strong and play the full 48 minutes. Bucks demolished the Clipps 119 - 85 in Milwaukee and that was with a healthy full Clippers unit. Including a healthy Zach, Baron and Marcus. Bucks are under-rated and should be just fine on this back to back. They were the only team that came through for me on a misrable Saturday. Let's see if the Bucks can get it done on my Birthday. 7.7 UNITS - - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOS Celtics-2.0
@ 10/27 MIL Bucks-1.0
@ 5/8 Round Robin/2 Play Parlays 3.6 UNITS - - -

One more stat in regards to the PORTLAND@CHARLOTTE game is that the Cats are a horrid 0-6 ATS on 3 or more days rest. Younger ball clubs need a game every other day to stay in the flow of things. The Bobcats will struggle to get it going, and after a horrible loss to Philly still in the back of Portland's mind they will come with the intensity needed to beat the Cats on the road.

Good thing bro, haven't lost a 15+ unit play in 2 years of gambling...HOWEVER, I tend to chase and increase units after a bad day, some say bad strategy but I like doing that and it has worked in the past. Bear this in mind...if I didn't loose so bad on Friday the Trailblazers would be no more then 11 units, nevertheless I do feel that is the safest bet on the board. Best of luck and thanks for the birthday wish!

Happy b'day Mak, i like the Celtics too, the trend seems to be the other way when 2 teams play twice in the same week. Wash. did Knicks tonight that way, been happening alot this year, worries me a bit. Or is Boston totally right now and Jersey just cannot keep it close if they played 5 times in a week?

Thanks 1hit, you have been killing it as of late. I often check to see if you are on the same side after I have placed my wager. Feel good about it when you are, too bad Detroit fucked us yesterday. Good luck with your plays. Peace

Thanks for the wish bud! See this theory pisses me off cause sometimes it works the way you stated and sometimes the opposite. Take for instance the Celts sweeping the Raps. Back to back or no back to back if a team is better in every aspect of the roster, you gotta put that revenge trend aside and back the better team. Although we have had 2 situations this week where a team refused to be swept or a situation where a revenge back to back game through, I still think there is no chance NJ will win this game, with that being said it will be close the it was in Boston but I still see a 9 - 15 point victory for the Celts. GL with your plays bud.

I'm w/ya Mak, if there is a time to fade this trend i really think it's this game. My problem is i've been making real good on it all year but it's due to drop 1. Remember though , Boston did beat Toronto twice, but Toronto covered the second game. Wasn't a su win but the trend still came through w/the cover. None the less, i will play the Celts, like i said, the trend is due to drop 1 and i will make the play that should be the right play. Not always prudent to blindly follow trends....GL Mak, respect your views.

yeah me too! it's obvious to me that their bench is very thin, with farmar and walton out and sasha ineffective last night once they get them guys back and playing up to speed, the lakers will be rolling again!!!
