I call bullshit.....first of all an $800 tab on a bunch of guys with Lebron at a high end steakhouse
have any of you even been to one
steaks and your 1st drink will get you there....not to mention copious amounts of expensive wine and other booze....until 4AM
tab would be closer to $3000
with that said, I am not saying he isn't stupid enough to not understand math.....but he also isnt dumb enough to want to ruin his rep in Clev by being called a cheap MOFO

I waited tables and tended bar for several years until recently and I can tell you it has everything to do with race, but probably not racism as a couple of people on here have theorized. Without being too specific in case it would be grounds for a boxing, some, ahem, cultures just don't tip for shit. I can tell you this for a fact though, next time he is in that restaurant he will DEFINITELY get a little something extra in his dinner. For those of you out there that may also be shitty tippers, believe me it has and/or will happen to you to (a little Visine in your beverage does wonders). Nothing pisses a guy off more than busting ass for someone and getting shafted. Pretty much the only job where that happens.

Doesn't restaurant charge a mandatory 15-20% tip when it's a group of 6 or more?
I don't know how many ppl were in his "posse" but I guessed 6 to be liberal with my math and how $800 does workout right at this restaraunt. Most places for parties of 8 or more add on 15 to 20% but its up to the establishment...and once again I dont know how many ppl were with him

I would rather that piece of shit thug give me nothing than $10...that's rubbing your face in the dirt. Mgt should from now on bar him from coming in there or at the very least not give him special privledges like staying there til 4am
No doubt. The fact that a bunch of working class people had to hang around past 4 am to cater to that fucker is the worst part. Figure it is a decent steakhouse they probably close at 11 pm or so. I would have lost my job that night because there is no way that guy walks out of the restaurant without a piece of my mind.

We are all witnesses. But not everything about the LeBron is worth witnessing. Sure, he has the $400,000 car, Jay-Z in his corner, and Phil Knight wrapped around his diamond pinkie ring. But witness how His Greatness treats the little people, and you may begin to see the virtue of Brendan Haywood's hard fouls.
One of LeBron's favorite places to dine is XO Prime Steaks on West Sixth. Its mix of swank drinks and delicately massaged beef allows the Chosen One to consume calories worthy of his royal digestive system. All of which is swell — except that LeBron is among Cleveland's stingiest tippers.
According to a Punch source, a peer recently quit after tiring of LeBron going Scrooge McDuck on his ass.
It went down like this: LeBron pulls up in his Mercedes outside XO. People stop and try not to stare, but c'mon, it's LeBron James. He enters the restaurant with a group of friends. On this special occasion, the King decides to dine late. He keeps his group there until around 3:45 a.m. During this time the waiter obsequiously pours drinks and fetches anything else His Greatness needs.
The final bill comes to $800. By the feudal laws of decorum, which stipulate that the affluent should administer a 20 percent gratuity, staffers figured they'd be pocketing an extra $160. But when they fetched the autographed bill after His Heinousness bolted back to Akron, their expectation turned to disbelief, then anger.
LeBron stiffed them with a meager $10 tip. This is what French nobles like to call your requisite Bourgeois Bitch-Slap. The waiter wouldn't even take it, tired of being shat on by guys like LeBron.
Still, at least the self-proclaimed King of Ohio didn't pull a Bernie Kosar — who gets sloshed at the bar and then has to remind the waiters of who he is before he stiffs them.

Do you guys think they would add a mandatory tip on a superstar like that? It seems to me that the owners don't give a fuck b/c people will say lebron james ate here and "dropped the crosby kids off at the pool" in that bathroom. I tip around 30% as long as the person is nice b/c I don't want my waitor dipping his dick in my beer

The manager of the shop needs to put a mandatory grat on the ticket if he comes again, especially keeping the server around till 4 AM.
What is more shocking is that James didnt rectify the situation after hearing about it, which I am sure he has heard by now.
He should rectify it but he was busy going 6 of 24 and getting an ass kicking by the Celts to do anything about it tonight....what an ass this guy is..
no tipping, no shooting King

I checked the prices with 'Joanna' because some of you were questioning the bill...this place isn't all that expensive, she said steaks range from $25-$50 and sides which serve 2 people are $8 a piece. So, two people could easily eat for $100-$150, then you have some drinks and $800 sounds like it could be right for 4-6 people.
