This is just the ESPN / NBA mandated rule of getting the game back to single digits by halftime so the entire east coast doesn't switch over to "The Office" reruns or crash for the night. The Jazz will be allowed to once again roll over and play dead in the 3rd quarter.

lakers cannot play with a lead. it will all depend on how the jazz play out of the gates in the 2nd half. IF they cut this lead and be within 3-5 points after the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter, then we have a chance.
