 Given the way San Fran's line-up has been cannibalized, it would be hard to fade Texas tonight. Webb is the better pitcher, but Quantrill is not bad.

I like the Pads also.

--Pfaadt has pitched over his head. Edge on the mound to the Papas.

--Carroll is 1/9 vs King, a .111 BA. He turns the crank for the Snakes.

--SD has the better pen. If they have a late lead, good chance they could keep it. I'd never bet a close, equal match-up like this one without a BP edge.

Both teams are hot, both are playing good ball. It's a tight NL west match-up, probably too tight to bet, but I just think SD has an edge tonight.
