There are soooo many outs in each line up right now. The As don't have Langaliers, Rooker, Gelof or Kurtz. They've score 2 or less in 4 of the last 10, only only scored more than 4 in two of those remaining 6 games. It's an uphill battle for that offense, and even though Great American Ballpark is a hitters paradise, you still have to be able to hit the actual ball first, for that to come into play. Abbott has been pretty good, but beats himself with walks. But his offense hasn't been scoring for him as of late. They've only scored more than 4 runs in 3 of his last 11 starts. Both teams have are headed out of town afterwards too, so an urgency to end it could be in play for two teams with no real playoff chances.
Guardians/Mets Over 7.5 -102
Foster Griffins been very, very good this year. But I think the Guardians aren't getting who they think. His last two starts have been duds, giving up 9 total runs in 11 IP. Thats no coincidence either. The most innings he ever pitched in Japan was 121 in one season. He's at 129 IP this year. His tank is empty and running on fumes. The Mets have scored 6 themselves in their last two, and they got Griffin for 5 back in May. McLean has been great, and he very well could be again today, but even if that does happen, I think this one gets to atleast 8.
I'll be back in a bit. Waiting on line ups.

The Pirates line up has seen May twice already this year, and May wasn't great in either of them. Last year they tagged him too when he was with Boston. The top of the Crews line up is as scary as they come, and about a month ago this Brewer line up dinged Ashcraft up for 5 ER in 5 IP on two long balls. Pirates bullpen isn't very good, although they did make some deadline moves to try and improve it.
Detroit Tigers +105
I think the pitching match up is a wash, and even lean Valdez cause of the Mariners inability to hit left handed pitching. And the Tigers offense is much more reliable as well. There probably isn't a ton of runs scored in this one, so the team that can scratch a few runs out will likely win it, and I have no trust that Seattle can do that on any given night, let alone when facing a veteran left hander who knows how to get people out.
Night games in a bit.

Bostons bats are hitting and Chicagos aren't. It's really that simple for me. Suarez is a better pitcher than Castillo, lets just hope he acts it tonight and this should be sweat free.
Marlins/Braves Under 9 -105
Both SPs have been excellent as of late. Junk had a hiccup against the Stros but they're smashing everyone right now. The Braves got Junk early in the year for a bunch, but that line up came out of the gates super hot, and have since been getting it done with pitching instead. Both line ups are capable no doubt, but I like the pitchers and pens in this one.
Arizona Diamondbacks -108
This will be the first time that the Padres will have seen Drake, but the same can't be said for the other match up. The Snakes saw Buehler a month ago, and beat his brains out. 7 runs on 7 hits, and two home runs. Since then he's been a tad better, but nothing to write home about. The Padres are also near the basement of the league when it comes to OPS vs lefties.

On Bos with ya. Let's get it again agreed this racket can be real simple. Real simple. We overcomplicate things and there is absolutely no reason for it.
